This is a cozy 225 square foot cabin that is beautifully decorated with a romantic, rustic theme. The perfect couples retreat or solo getaway to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. Everything you need after a day of hiking or climbing. Only 11 miles to Natural Bridge State Park 11 miles to Stanton city for dining/stores, and 22 miles to the Red River Gorge area. Easy to access with a car. Contact free check in and super clean.

Great stay
Everything was overall great! The bed was a bit uncomfortable but my husband I enjoyed it there so much we will be back, we may just bring a mattress pad.

Great stay!
We had a great time here for two nights. Admittedly, I was not a fan of the composting toilet—however, it was a great stay and the outdoor area they have is unbeatable! Thanks so much!

Perfect location to unplug
My husband and I were looking for a place to unplug and getaway. This cozy little cottage was perfect. No internet, minimal cell coverage….it was exactly what we needed to focus on time with each other. The road to the cottage is super curvy. About 25-30 minutes into the heart of all things RRG. Super clean. Composting toilet was not nearly as off-putting as I thought. No smell at all! Shaundra was incredibly responsive and a pleasure to book with. Highly recommend.

It was amazing
We went down to spend the weekend to get engaged and it was perfect! We was close enough to everything but far enough to have our privacy the only bad thing was the person in the other cabin kept parking right in front of our window and would have. Their lights come threw our window in the middle of the night but other then that I couldn't of asked for a. Better weekend definitely will be back. Didn't really get to enjoy the fire pit because it rained the whole time but our cabin was cozy and we was fine just being there.

Isolation in the woods
This was the perfect cabin for what I needed it for… I wanted to get away and relax in nature to commune with the Lord and just sit with myself in the midst of a challenging season in my life. The scenery was AMAZING! The cabin was the perfect size and the upkeep was great. I was a little nervous about using a composting toilet but it was actually not that bad! I was surprised it didn’t stink! I LOVED the hot water in the shower (underrated feature) and the decor in the bathroom was my fav. I liked the tea lights over the bed because it set an atmosphere at night and the blackout curtains allowed me to get some much needed rest! The swinging seats outside was my favorite and I sat there swaying staring into the trees for like two hours straight lol Truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend for an isolated unplugged get away. My only con was the fact that another couple that booked one of the other cabins apart of the property came to my door after 10 pressing the keypad thinking it was the cabin they booked and it was TERRIFIED 😂 but once I called the host she explained what happened and I saw the next morning that they found their way and it was still off enough that I still had privacy.

Couples getaway
The husband and I wanted a quiet cabin tucked away from the hustle bustle to relax but still close to some unique attractions. This was a perfect place!! Its only 15-20 minutes to Natural Bridge State park. Also 2 really good food places close by there. Miguels pizza and the Rockhouse restaurants. We even found our new favorite bird while staying here. The Brown Thrasher sings such beautiful melodies. If you want piece and quiet this is the place. Not alot of traffic on the road so its pretty quiet just listen to the birds and the tree frogs at night. We highly recommend staying. The host was always very responsive to any questions and very helpful. Plan to stay here again sometime in the future. Thanks again!!

Wonderful cabin escape
Very cute, very nice location, very well decorated. Cabin was comfy and had the essentials — although admittedly the composting toilet was hard to get used to and did smell a little. The outdoor seating and fire pit were beautiful, and the hostess was communicative and polite. A heads up about the other guests that would be parking there would have been appreciated! We were all mildly confused.

Cute Place!
This little cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway for two! Comfortable bed, everything you need in the kitchen, private location close to area attractions. The best part of the stay was the fire pit! It does appear to have a tub, but it’s actually a shower. I wasn’t sure about the composting toilet, but it wasn’t bad at all! The owner was very responsive to all my questions & even offered to change the reservation in light of the state of emergency that was issued when I asked about how the winds were impacting the cabin site. Would definitely recommend!
