"Richard was very welcoming. My plans changed on the day of arrival and he extended my stay, no issues at all. Had everything and more than i needed in my room. I stay away from home approximately 6 months of the year for the last 28 years and i think this was the most comfortable bed and fluffiest duvet i have ever had. Very quiet and peaceful area and the best nights sleep, very restful. "

The owners were super helpful in terms of their communication ahead of our booking, as well as in answering all of our questions in the build up. The cooked breakfast in the morning was amazing and we really appreciated their friendliness and their suggestions for things to do in the nearby area. "No staff about when you needed them. Heating not working. Wasnt fixed when asked. Restaurant has been shut about 4 years, no food on site. Fire alarm went off at 4.45am and no staff on site. Fire brigade had to break in to reset alarm. Makes Fawlty Towers look like a 5 star! Dont be fooled by the pictures! Cheap and definitely not cheerful. Literally unable to contact anyone for a refund. "

"Booked at short notice online as was in the area for work great valine for money. Was seen soon as I walked in and being a pub the lovely lady told me straight away there was live music and it might be a bit noisy. Which I didn’t mind as I was going to work. The room I was in I didn’t hear much of the noise from downstairs at all lovely room food shower clean tidy if I had to grumble about anything it was the fact I had to go to work as the people in the pub downstairs all looked to be having an...
