They are a dig friendly Hotel, and although we don’t dislike dogs, we asked to be moved in case we were woken by barking pets, and there was no problem at all. "My stay was roughly what I was expecting. The rooms are a bit 'tired' but okay for the money. Biggest concern I had was that the hot water was far too hot, scalding hot in fact, manageable in the shower with the mixer tap but the basin had single taps so the temperature of the water was dangerous. Also the tap had a left handed action, which is bizarre."

"Elaine over provided a wonderful breakfast and was helpful with giving us info on the area. When a canal ride was oversold she personally drove there to attain tickets. Property was beautiful and presents pastoral England as we pictured it. I highly recommend this property"
