Seaside Getaway - where peace and tranquility are plenty!

  • If you’re looking for peace & tranquility to get away from the hustle & bustle of city life, then this is the place for you. In the quiet settlement of Stafford Creek, you’ll find this spacious & newly built cottage. With 2 bedrooms, a bath, living room, kitchen & wifi, guest will have access to all modern amenities & a gorgeous view of the sea. Walk out to sea exploring, collecting shells, spot a starfish or if you’re lucky a conch or a turtle, but best of all bone fish for those anglers. We can set you up with some of the best fishing or tour guides.

    Stafford Creek is a beautiful settlement in North Andros, just 15 minutes by plane from Nassau and 25mins by taxi from San Andros Airport. Guest can do an array of things such as bird watching, visiting blue holes, Forfar Field Station, bone fishing or just simply relax to the sounds of the sea and cool breeze. There are experienced and reliable bone fish guides that live in the community that would be more than happy to take you out and have all your fishing dreams come through (arrangements can be made upon request). There is also a convinience store in the settlement where you can purchase necessities. The property comes with two bikes for your riding pleasure, but a rental car will be required for getting around the island. A car is provided for rental to guest for an additional fee. A true island experience that you won’t want to leave!

Great spot for Bonefishing Guests. Fishable Flats right out front door. Good Flats North and South of Stafford Creek. Great Fishing Guide lives next door. Communication with Santisha was easy and Kevin was right next door and superb to help with any issues.

Just a perfect location for our kind of travel adventure! Warm and receptive hosts, great accommodations, & great location for do it yourself bonefishing. The kayaks on site were excellent, along with guides if you wanted to do that right in the neighborhood as well. Ocean frontage, (not really sunbathing beachfront), but using the kayaks or vehicle that the rental offers can get you to some for sure.This is an excellent spot for a quiet, slow paced island bonefishing adventures!We will be returning for sure!!!

My brother and I stayed at Seaside Getaway for 7 days mainly for proximity to good bone fishing. The location was perfect nice flat right out the front door and other good areas close by. House was comfortable and as advertised. Santisha and all her helpers were very helpful and friendly. We will be back.

My son and I came to the island for bone fishing. Property was as advertised. Central location allowed easy travel to most parts of the island. Host was extremely helpful and responsive. We would recommend!

Great location for DIY bonefishing near the Blanket Sound area of Stafford Creek. The flats in front of the area were excellent and productive.Can't say enought about Santisha - she was excellent. Very attentive. Great ideas and resourceful to our requests. She's the Bee's-knees!

Incredible quiet spot, walking distance from great bonefish flats

This was the perfect place for my wife and I. The house is very nice, the location is amazing. Lucky Lusca restaurant was amazing. It’s about 15 minute drive, but well worth it to get the best red snapper you will ever eat. Overall this place was a winner and if we get back to Andros we will be staying here again.

Great Getaway

Had a great stay at Seaside Getaway on North Andros. The place was clean, very comfortable, quiet and fully equipped with everything I needed for my stay. Santisha is a wonderful host and very communicative and so helpful and accommodating in every way. I will return for a longer stay.

Bone fish paradise

Logistics can be tough on Andros but everything was in great working order and as advertised on the listing. Santishia is great and helped out anyway she could to make a great trip. Great DIY bone fishing right out the front door and plenty of other locations to travel to. A, great vacation!

So relaxing!

Had a wonderful Christmas here! So peaceful and quiet. The kayaks were such a bonus… we paddled for 10 miles to different islands and through the mangroves…it was a beautiful way to experience Andros!

Good location for bonefishing

House is next to the extensive Stafford Creek for bonefishing. Owner was very responsive and helpful with all needs. Caretaker responded immediately if we needed something. No beach in front but close by.

Totally Fabulous time in North Andros Staying Here

Santisha was an absolute godsend in helping us with local guides and tours and restaurants and being super responsive to our needs. The property is in a beautiful location very close to some amazing beaches. We were very comfortable in this roomy house that had a great kitchen and very good A/C and internet. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, yet energetic outdoor trip, I would run and not walk to book this property.

Hidden gem

If you’re looking for a place to hang your hat while you explore an amazing island…Seaside getaway is your place. If you want 5 star accommodations it is not for you. But if you want a fantastic hidden getaway well worth the money, with amazing water access and convenient to most hot spots within 20-30 min, this for you. A CAR IS NECESSARY TO GO ISLAND EXPLORING! But the owner makes this available to rent. We relaxed, explored, and came back to comfort with AC, smart TV, full kitchen.it is the most relaxed vaca we have had.the owners communicate well and have someone nearby should issues arrive. We made breakfast and packed lunches and visited local bars and restaurants for dinner. Everyone is friendly. For an island we new nothing about we cannot wait to return!

Are YOU a DIY Bonefisher?

If so, then you have found the BEST place to do it. I have had the fortune to extensively travel to fish salty places and chase bonefish. Moreover, I have spent considerable time all over Andros, which I consider to be amongst the best bonefishing in the world. If you are adventurous and want the challenge of searching for these fish on your own, then this is the place to stay!Seaside Getaway is centrally located on North Andros (Stafford Creek), providing north/south access to many flats of the area. From fishing a killer flat right out your front door to venturing further (maybe to experience the fabled Westside fishing of Red bays), you can't go wrong choosing Seaside Getaway. Your options are endless and only bounded by a willingness to read the tides and put in time to explore. You will find your host, Santisha, to be super communicative and helpful for any of your needs. One of the great things about choosing to stay at Seaside Getaway is you can arrange to rent her vehicle for the duration of your stay. This makes it super easy to travel the Queens Highway in search of awesome flats, beautiful beaches and that special hidden bar for a refreshing Kalik. (I suggest you visit the local bar called The After Spot and get to know Brittany and her group of Stafford Queens...they are simply the best)If you want to experience the best of DIY bonefishing, then I highly recommend you book this hidden gem.
