Property served a purpose but it was not quite as advertised. Some of the photos and description of property are misleading such as beaches and walkability. This property does not have any beach access and any advertisements of beach access are connected to other properties and are not part of this property. I booked this unit under the pretense it was a 1 bedroom and it is a small studio barely big enough for 2 people. I can't imagine how 4 people would fit. Bathroom shower is in a bit of rough condition with chipped tiles and possible leaking from ceiling. Just be warned that the property has very steep roads and very narrow. Walking almost anywhere was a physical challenge. On a good note, the view was decent and the view was even better from the pool area. The bed was comfortble and beach towels that were provided was useful. There is parking availability right outside the unit. The patio was spacious and it was nice to sit outside when weather permitted. The Sun and Sea restaurant was fantastic.

If you rent here you will get a double bed (not queen) and a double air mattress (not queen). There is a couch, but it does not pull out into a bed. The description says you will receive a futon which is not the case. My husband, my 6 year old daughter and myself rented this unit. Since it was only a double bed, unfortunately one of us had to sleep on the air mattress every night. The air mattress got a hole in it at 2AM one night and ended up having to sleep on the couch. There are better units out there, even at the same condo complex for the same price. This unit is super tiny - an efficiency. Our friends rented a one bedroom with a living room and huge kitchen in the same complex for the same price. I would recommend checking around before renting here.

We enjoyed our stay. It was a nice location, and relatively close to several popular beaches. If you haven't stayed here, i would recommend arriving for the first time in the daylight jours if you are renting a vehicle. A little challenging maneuvering your way to the proper building.Otherwise, reasonable rate for our weeklong stay and a very nice var and grill attached.

We stayed from Feb 1-15th at this property, the host was very responsive with any questions. The condo was a little small, but it worked well for the 2 of us, had all the essentials we needed for our trip. It’s a little dated, but the idea is to enjoy the weather not spend all your time in the condo! Sun & Sea was convenient and handy, as well as the ability to walk to Margaritaville- and the food at both were great. The staff at the resort were super kind and friendly and helpful to arrange cabs, any questions or assistance we needed. I will warn you the hills are quite steep to get around on foot- the position of the condo gives you a beautiful view but wherever you decide to walk you need to be committed !! Coki beach is walking distance and has great snorkelling- but be prepared for some sketchy characters while you are there. We would return and stay again. Another thing we would recommend is taking the ferry and going to St Johns- we spent a lot of time over there- so beautiful, and the ferry runs every hour and takes about 15 minutes. Sugar Beach on the resort is super small- but great to enjoy some quiet time, or bring your fishing rod and see what you can catch. Lastly, if you are sensitive to bug bites, come prepared, and ensure you wear bug spray in the mornings, evenings and if you are wandering throughout the day. Had a wonderful trip! Thank you.

Perfect views.Great communication with owner and I must say Billy is a great person really took his time to help us find another place to stay for extra 5 days as our flight got cancelled due to airspace closure. It’s is almost impossible to do so last minute!!!!

This property was perfectly simple and provided all you could need for an island vacation. Beautifully renovated, clean, and great location. We didn’t spend much time in the condo, but when we did, our needs were accommodated well. Would recommend to others looking for a nice, quiet place to vacation.

Nice for a quick getaway

The unit was cute and clean. It’s great for a couple or 2 friends needing a place to stay. St. Thomas is very hilly and this resort is located on the top of a hill, something to be mindful of. The surrounding are beautiful, however this specific unit did not have much of a water view. Other units seemed to have a better view of the ocean. Billy is very responsive. I didn’t spend much time in the area as I was busy shuffling from one end of the island to another. I was there for a wedding, so my time really didn’t belong to me. I’d recommend here and I would stay again.

Nice clean unit

Just stayed one night. Easy location for visiting Coral World. “Resort” water sports is under renovation so nothing available onsite. Pool and bar/restaurant are great and short walk from unit. Unit does not really have an ocean view like other buildings higher up the hill but was still very nice and host was great!

Great place for a couple up for a little walking.

We had a great time at St. Thomas. This unit is a studio which I wasn't clear on from the listing but it was good. We did have a water leak that was a little bit of a pain while we were there, but the owner was helpful in giving us options on how they could take care of it. It is a little bit of walking down to the unit and to get places, but I think that is clear from other reviews. It is a small place but we spent most of our time out and about. Thank you for a great time.

Its Okay

The property itself is beautiful, the only complaint about the location is all the hills and there wasnt any beach to enjoy. The room was in decent shape, it could have more clean. We found hair in thw bathroom, on the countertops of the kitchenette. There was splatters of food or drink on the walls and the mattress protector was clearly dirty. The only real complaints I have is that we found not 1 but 2 Cochroahes in the room. One huge one came out of the bathroom sinks drain and the other was found when we cleaned up upon check out. It was dead on the floor and I was sweeping and swept it into the dustpan and then noticed it. I contacted the owner and informed him along with pictures and the response was that they were water bugs. I know for a fact they were not water bugs and this bothered me so much, I had to take some much more extra precautions when packing up to go home. I did not want them to get into our luggage and travel hime with us. Please be cautious staying here.

Perfect for all north shore beaches

Very close to Coki, Saphire, Lindquist, and Red Hook. You can walk to Margaritaville - if you’re into that. The resort property has two restaurants with a bar, Sun and Sea is the more casual of the two with great food and views. Friendly staff. Nice front porch with views of the bay.

Point pleasant resort

We enjoyed the location of the property and the restaurants at Point Pleasant. Being able to walk to Coki beach was great. We definitely used the pools, beach and restaurant on the water a ton. View was not exactly accurate from the pictures online, much of the foliage is overgrown now. No fault of the owner. Studio was ok, I wish it was more equipped for three people. We did not have a pillow or blanket for the pull out couch. Only two coffee cups, The blender was also not working and the kitchen could use some additional items for cooking. I would definitely recommend for a couple who is active with all the stairs and hills. It was perfect for us as we love to walk and exercise while on vacation. They also have a shuttle if you need it.

Great Stay!

Property was as described and views were wonderful. Location was great. Close to the best beaches on the island and tons of options for dinner close by. Would stay again for sure if we make it back to St Thomas :)

Positives and Negatives

The description of the property is a little misleading. There is a beach within walking distance but it isn’t easy to get to and you wouldn’t want to go in the dark - there’s no lighting. There’s also no lighting on the stairs that lead down to the unit. The stairs aren’t normal stairs, they’re made of rock and are very uneven. They could be difficult for an older person. None of the remote controls worked and one of the stove burners were damaged but usable. The shower floor was uncomfortable to stand on and using the shower mat was necessary. The sleeper sofa has seen better days. We had our 2 kids with us and ended up putting the sofa mattress on the floor for them because the sofa was so noisy and saggy. On the positive side, the unit was clean and is close to town and right off of a main road making it easy to get out to see the island. The Wi-Fi was good and the air conditioner worked well. The kitchen has all the basics and the fridge is ample size. The porch was a nice little spot to hang out and the views were nice.
