Fantastic location across from the tide-contingent beach and close to the village. Beach access is only a few steps away. Walk on the flat, sand beach from East Beach to the Sea Island Golf Club. Village shops, restaurants, pier, lighthouse and pool are only a short five minute walk away!!

Join the Beach House family and become part of the familiar visitors to one of the most popular destinations on St. Simons Island. This first floor condo has been recently remodeled to make your vacation experience even better. Enjoy the modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances, new bathrooms (2) and full size washer and dryer. New dining room and living room furniture were recently added for your comfort. Enjoy your downtime with a big screen TV or relax on the outside porch and feel the ocean breezes. Come see us on St. Simons Island!!

We have stayed at Bill’s beach bungalow once before and would definitely stay again. The unit was VERY clean and orderly when we checked in, as was previously. This unit is perfect for a long weekend and we enjoyed our time here. The location is primary reason we chose to stay a second time. Cross one little street and down a path to beach!

The condo felt like it was in the middle of renovations. There were holes in the walls where pictures once stood (we have stayed here before and know what it looked like). There were not enough towels for a family of 4 and I had to wash a load to have clean towels daily.

Great for a getaway

Right across from the 12th street beach access that pretty much always has beach even during higher tide. Say walk to the village and walking/biking distance to the shops and restaurants at Arnold road. Wonderful location.

Although we chose to leave a day early due to a lack of power as a result of a hurricane, this unit is excellently equipped and in a great location near the beach and the village.

Perfect location on SSI

The condo is right across the street from the beach (though you can't see it because of another building that blocks the view) which is really convenient, especially with kids. There are also a bunch of restaurants and shops nearby that are within walking or biking distance, which was great! The only real con to this property was that the king size bed was very hard. If you don't mind that, this is the perfect property for your stay on SSI!

The property is partially modernized. It is very close (walking distance) to shopping, eating, and the beach. The beds and pilows need updating. I woke up every morning with back aches because the mattress feels like rocks covered with a mattress pad. Other than that, it was great!

Nicely decorated and good location

The location was actually better in person than the pics. Very homely (in our opinion) and comfortable and cheerfully and beachy decorated. It was just right for a long weekend trip! It was me, my husband and my sister on this visit. We enjoyed the beach both Friday and Saturday and ate delicious seafood.

Terrific stay with family

The condo was close to everything: beach, pier, restaurants, shopping etc. we only got in our car once during our stay. Our place was clean and comfortable. We had everything necessary to feel at home on the beach!

It’s a great location

Don’t get me wrong, you can’t beat the location, literally on the beach in a minutes walk, & a short walk to the pier village. It’s on a very quiet street & you can hear the ocean from the front porch. The unit itself has a great layout, updated & clean. There is a shared closet when you walk in with some beach chairs for you to use! However some things worth noting… Most of the furniture needs to be replaced. All 3 beds, pillows and linens were terrible. You will not have a good night sleep in these beds. The sofas had little to no cushion left and the chair in the living room was worse than the couch. The kitchen was not equipped for cooking… there wasn’t even a proper knife to cut veggies. The house was not stocked with any essentials you typically find in a VRBO (no dish soap, sponge, dishwasher tabs, hand soap, basic toiletries, trash bags, laundry pods, coffee essentials, salt and pepper, tissues, etc). We ended up going to buy our own. (According to the property management during check out there should have been some of these things, and we should have asked… but how were we supposed to of known). The property is an older building so you hear EVERYTHING! We were woken up in the middle of the night by the guests above us moving about. Overall, great stay, just wish it was more comfortable/equipped.

The condo is in a perfect location. You walk across a quiet street to a public beach access to get to the beach. You can see the ocean from the porch, but there are condos that block a complete beach view. You can also easily walk to the pier with restaurants, shops, pool & playground.

Wonderful condo!

Location is PERFECT! We enjoyed our stay and were very pleased with the cleanliness of the condo. Kitchen had everything we need and the property was just as described. The bathtub drain needs work but other than that everything was perfect and we will be back!

Excellent location!!

We couldn’t ask for a better location. This condo was convenient to the pier and village. It was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. This was our first time in St Simons and we’re already planning our next trip back!

The location of the property is very close to the beach and you can hear the ocean waves clearly. It was nice to see many people taking walks around the area, giving a pleasant environment. The unit was very clean upon arrival and being located on the first floor is helpful to elderly people. The only issue is the check in time and check out time, which gave a shortened enjoyment of the unit.

Great choice for a longer term stay. Excellent location across the road from beach access and close to the village. Property manager is extremely responsive. Bed/furniture is very comfortable, everything works great, nice porch for eating meals and hanging out!
