We couldn’t have asked for a better home base for our family of four. The farmhouse was exactly the right size — stairs were a bit treacherous for a 3 year old but he quickly learned to always ask for help before coming down them. The yard and meadow stretching behind the house were the real highlights: our toddler spent hours among the butterflies and wildflowers, with that beautiful Provençal greenery in every direction. The house was thoughtfully stocked — plenty of towels, cleaning supplies, and a kitchen ready to cook in, with olive oil, spices, and coffee already waiting. All the beds were soft and plenty of pillows as well. On cool mornings, the wood pellet stove did a wonderful job warming the whole house, which made those slow breakfast hours especially cozy.Our host Genevieve was warm, responsive, and genuinely invested in our stay. She even arranged a babysitter so my partner and I could have a night out in Saint-Rémy — that kind of above-and-beyond hospitality is rare and we were so grateful.AC kept the house perfectly cool on warmer days, WiFi was reliable, and the location struck that elusive balance: a quick drive into town but utterly quiet and peaceful. We’d return in a heartbeat.
