Cozy

The location was GREAT!! Literally steps away from the beach!! Sea Rocket #8 was so pretty and cozy. I just wish we had more towels and washcloths. Their was 2 of us staying for 3 nights and we only on 2 towels, 2 washcloths and NO dishcloths. But other than that it was a very nice place to stay!

Relaxing Couple's Weekend

We have stayed at the SeaRocket before, in a different unit, and knew the location would be perfect. It is right at the beach, quiet, and close to great restaurants and beach shops. This room did not disappoint. It had the perfect size kitchen for the two of us, and looked newly renovated. Communication from the property management company was perfect and everyone we interacted with on property were nice. You will not regret a stay here, if you are looking for peace and quiet, just steps from your door to the ocean and beautiful gulf coast sunsets. We highly recommend.

What a gem

This place is as close to the beach as you can get without sleeping on the beach. For the price, the location, it can’t be beat. The room is rather small as these were hotel rooms converted to condos. #8 is retro themed and very nice. Full kitchen and all the necessary cutlery and glassware. All the furnishings are very nice and relatively new. There were beach chairs a cooler and umbrella in the closet that other people had left that you could use if you needed. The only complaint was the bed. It’s a memory foam mattress and holy moly it killed my back. Great little place to stay not sure I would stay again just because of the bed. Oh and parking. If you have a larger vehicle FORGET IT! Other people wouldn’t pull all the way into their spot and our tiny trailblazer could barely squeak by between cars and the building. I’m talking inches on either side.

Condo on the beach

A great location, next to the water. Eating places within walking distance. The condo was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with all equipment needed. The Internet network and password didn’t work because network we had the password for didn’t exist or wasn’t available.

Great weekend getaway

Our stay was lovely, the unit was super clean and had all the amenities we needed. Loved that it was right on the beach. Had some difficulty with our access code but the property agents easily sorted out the issue and we had no problems the entire trip. Highly recommend, look forward to another future stay.

The perfect getaway

We decided to treat ourselves to a trip after a lot of difficult life stresses. I have to say this location was absolutely perfect. Perfect size for us, ideal location. I really appreciated that the beach was very spacious and not overloaded, also that there wasn’t swarms of people everywhere. We were comfortable the whole time, and night walks on the beach are amazing. Affordable, adorable decorations, cozy, convenient location - pretty much in the middle of everything. This was the ideal trip we were looking for. The only thing I would say, is that on the first use, the shower did take a while to warm up, but after that it was good and ready. I also would appreciate having more than one roll of toilet paper to spare. Other than that, 5 stars all the way. Definitely will be back if we come back to the area! Thank you!

Cutest Rental Yet!!

Loved the property. The unit was small but so cute we didn’t mind. We had everything to do with and everything was top notch. After we figured out the Roku TV it was a perfect vacation.

Super cute retro retreat

This is a super clean (no roaches as others have mentioned) place, right on the beach with all the listed amenities. They provide 2 towels, 2 beach towels, 2 beach chairs, hair dryer and coffee maker. Newly redecorated with all new everything. Close to good and beverages for walkers like me. Bus/ trolley easy to get downtown for galleries and shopping. Best beach and sunset in town!

Holiday Weekend Getaway

Very clean, organized. Reserved parking space was literally 13 steps away form the front door - ground level condo was a plus! Kitchen was stocked with essentials. Beach chairs and umbrella are in the back dressing room area. You can walk to a few places for meals or a short drive 1-2 miles. The covered patio was great and they have a built in grill if you like. Very comfortable room ( Queen bed) and very quiet night. I would definitely consider coming here again.

Great cozy place for a couple

This place is exactly as shown in the pictures. Very cute and clean. I would recommend you bringing your own towels. Make sure you bring your paper products like TP, extra paper towels, trash bags for both kitchen trash can and bathroom trash can.. Take your own beach towels unless you want to wash what's provided. Also recommend not driving SUV or other large vehicle. The parking space is very tight. The beach is just few steps from the room which was Awesome! We really enjoyed our stay!

Super cute, great location!

The property was fantastic. Just as advertised. Steps to the beautiful beach!! We loved walking to Gypsy Souls Coffee, Burrito Social, Sweet Sage Cafe, and Conch Republic. No need for a car at all. The AC worked fantastic in heat over 100, and the bed was comfy. The only downside is that you don't connect directly with the owners like you do with other vrbo rentals, you go through a property management company. Because of this, they manage too much for you to ask something simple like checking in an hour early. It would have really helped our vacation if we could have left our bags in the unit since we got in town at 11 and couldn't check in until 4. So we had our suitcase on the beach. With direct contact with the owner I'm guessing we could have at least set a bag down. Oh well. Overall the rental was cute, clean, and had a great location!

Great Location! Right on the Beach

The location can't be beat, right on the beach. The overall room was super cute, loved the theme. Only negatives on the room itself was the wall unit a/c is very loud and is next to the bed. There were also little cockroaches everywhere. We're from FL so it wasn't surprising to see some, but there seemed to be a few more than what we were used to in the room. The only downside to the exterior was there was a high school birthday party that took over the entire patio & beach right out front, all day & night. I know all those people weren't staying there as the teenagers were saying bye & being picked up as late as 11pm. I understand it was a Saturday but we thought it was very inconsiderate to invite 30-40 teenagers over to a private community and take over the entire patio of that community to where no one else can enjoy the patio, or beach, all day & into the night because of this party. This isn't necessarily the owners fault as I'm sure they weren't aware of the situation. Overall, it was a nice place to get away for a few days. The management is great & we'll be renting from them again; probably not this property, but we'll be back.

ROACHES

Was really looking forward to this vacation/condo especially since it’s steps away from the beach and it was our honeymoon. When we arrived we saw more than 10 German cockroaches. I definitely did not want to stay at a place with roaches and also risking bringing them back home. They denied a refund or even a discount. They had pest control come out, but as anybody would know that did absolutely nothing because roaches are insanely hard to get rid of. Would ABSOLUTELY not stay here again or recommend it to anyone. Don’t be fooled by the good reviews.

Clean, comfortable, great location

We were very pleased with our rental. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for us . . . right on the beach. We had some difficulty getting into our room because the code didn't unlock the door and the lockbox was tricky to get open to access the spare key. Once we got the door open we found 2 keys inside the room so we were all set.

Great Studio Apt with the Best Shore Side Living

SeaRocket 8 was a great place to get away for some sun and relaxation. I’d say the best thing is the location. When you can walk out and literally be on the beach in 3 seconds....... that;s my kind of “backyard”. We could see the beach from the window while sitting on the bed. All the neighbors were quiet and friendly. The studio apt had everything we needed and more. Did include beach chairs and towels and had all the necessary utensils for eating and cooking which would have been nice if it had been mentioned in the details. We could have left some things home. But the room was comfortable and we would highly recommend for a short stay. Your bedroom and living and kitchen is all in one room so make sure you get along well with whomever you might be traveling :). Thank you Jeff and Gina for such lovely accommodations !!

Great little studio right on the water. We live here and used it for a quick getaway. Only thing that would be nice addition is a few more towels/ washcloths. Add some small amenities like shampoo. We brought our own.
