This was an amazing place to stay, so clean and nice, updated furnishings. The pool looked very nice, weather not warm enough for me to get in the water (pool or beach). John responded very quickly to messages, arrival and departure were simple and easy. The location was a short walk to John’s Pass and to a family members house. I enjoyed getting the steps in. I would absolutely stay here again, my parents liked the place as well, so they will have a contact point the next time they visit this area. Lovely place John… well done!

My pretend weekend

I booked my stay in advance, was so excited for myself and husband. 4 days before check-in I ended up sick in hospital for over a week. So instead of being heartbroken over losing my beach weekend, I looked at the bright side and was glad i recovered. So im sure this getaway would have been fabulous. Nothing bad to say about it 😌

Cute little cottage resort. Great pool, friendly staff. A few things to make it a five. Check in/out times not as listed on VRBO. A bed skirt on the boxspring, extra pillows and more attention to dusting/fingerprint cleaning on cabinets. Otherwise a cute little cottage. Excellent couch, tv, wifi, kitchen supplies, towels, comfortable bed. Laundry facilities excellent.

Friendly atmosphere

We enjoyed our stay very much. Clean room, friendly neighbors and the property manager was wonderful and very available to our needs. The only negative would be the bathroom toilet placement. Very crowded by the sink placement. Other than that it was a wonderful stay!

Easy walk to Madeira Beach

The cabin was just fine for a one week stay - quiet, dark and comfortable bed at night and everything we needed during the day. The one flaw - toilet placement that put our knees directly under the sink. It’s awkward and off-putting to sit on a toilet seat on a diagonal angle. I doubt it can be remedied without a ridiculous amount of time or money. Very convenient location on a busy Avenue. Just barely enough parking space for SUV type vehicles. Take exquisite care when parking or leaving.

Love this hideaway

We have stayed at Gulf Resort 2 years in a row now and we love it. We stay in the small efficiency cottages and they are perfect for our needs. Right across the street to a public beach access and within walking distance to several good bars and restaurants. We have never had a problem with getting into our room (and we usually arrive very late) and Dave the manager is there every day and very very helpful. Our rooms have been clean and the property is kept very nicely. The pool is awesome and heated and the people around us are always welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend for a short stay to get some sun before heading into the dreary northern winter.

Perfect little getaway!

This was my second time staying here and it was just as nice as the first! Clean and cozy! Not far from John’s Pass, directly across the street from the beach and a pool right outside the door…Perfect!

Great place to stay in Madeira

This condo was a perfect place to stay for our trip to the beach. Close to beaches, restaurants and shopping. The condo was clean and had everything we needed, beach towels included! The mattress was a little hard for us but that’s our opinion. Also the bathroom is very tight and cramped but again, not a huge deal. The grounds and pool area are well kept and clean.

Great mom and daughters trip!

My mom and I took a girls trip down there and had an absolute blast! The unit was very close to the beach, quiet and close to everything Madiera had to offer! We will definitely go back! Thanks again!

Easy access to the beach. Bathroom was VERY small but functional. Resort manager, Dave Adams, was very helpful and accommodating and made our stay much nicer. Great pool and pool area. Used the gas grille a couple time which was convenient. Overall a good place to stay and "beach it".
