Treasure Island Vacation

Stayed in a very nice 2 bed/ 2bath condo with balcony overlooking the gulf. Perfect for evening sunsets and just listening to the waves.

Very pleased!

We never had a guest parking permit for our visitors! A resident there seemed to watch for people without them & called a tow truck to come & tow the vehicles!! A bit over zealous!☹️Needs to stop. We did ask for a permit but never heard back.!

Awesome!

We loved our stay! Perfect location, and very clean. The couch is the only thing that should be updated- due to being white and stained. The entire condo is beautiful, fully equipped and extremely comfortable! Loved, loved, loved it here! Highly recommended!

Red Tide

They forgot to mention an infestation of red tide... of course, you could ALWAYS just jump in the pool... although there was no water in it. We were not permitted early entry... but WERE RUSHED to leave. Never again... VRBO

Great place

Beautiful condo and location can't be beat. We loved the view and being so close to the beach. Overall instructions were a little confusing though, and we got mixed signals from two separate things left for us in the condo.

Quick trip with friends

I came down from NY to be able to visit a life long friend and this place was perfect for it! I’ve stayed at several units within Sunset Chateau and this one did not disappoint. Gino the neighbor was always so polite and helpful if we had any questions on local options in terms of food, things to do and even gave us a heads up to a storm rolling in. There was a miscommunication with the management property during my stay where a contractor let themselves into the unit without my prior knowledge of their arrival. This obviously caused alarm as I was sitting on the beach watching someone enter the unit. The contractors were beyond apologetic and polite however I did express this concern to the property management immediately. The contractors had to return to complete the work on a separate day and the property management did give me a heads up the second time. Even with this minor incident, I would stay here again.

Anniversary getaway

Amazing vacation! Definitely will be back. I struggled rating for it was all great besides two little things, so, it’s between 4-5 star for overall. The neighbors were all amazing! The beach incredible! Sugar sand plus patches of massive shells for shell picking! Found several sand dollars too! Shallow sandy swimming! Two days we seen a manatee in the beach area swimming, we seen several birds, crabs, small silver bait fish…. The unit had beech chairs, umbrella, beach towels, kitchen to save $ on meals. Absolutely beautiful inside as well! The bed was very comfortable! She’ll decor absolutely breathtaking! Wish I could have staid forever! Only complain I have is the cleaning prior to us arriving was not very great…. It wasn’t horrible but some spots were big time missed, I love the white couch for looks but it’s very stained which was okay since I assumed it was clean, just stained, but the bathroom sink was missed and a few questionable other things . But it was not horrible! I’d still come back. There are cleaning products there… I wish the washer/dryer was explained more though. It says on unit so I assumed in our condo. It’s a shaded one which is ok but no place gives quarters for change around there so we just washed in the sink which worked totally fine till the last night when we seen the note that said we had to wash the beach towels… then we had to run around to find quarter. Ended up at the laundry mat a few miles away to get change. So I’d bring quarters! So besides the laundry circus and a few things needing better cleaning it was pure paradise and I would have stayed a life time if I could have! Can’t wait to return!

Wonderful Stay

Absolutely adore this condo! We stayed in this condo back in 2019 when we got married and decided to come back after a wonderful stay the first time. This trip did not disappoint! The condo was super clean which is a huge thing for us. We really enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back!! It is our favorite spot :)

Good, except for the screen door, which does,nt close, and the kitchen was missing one important thing, a blender, also batteries in remotes were all very weak, could,nt find any replacements in room.

Clean as advertised,very comfortable beds. Everything you need is there! Needs a storm door repaired, couch is uncomfortable but we enjoyed our stay, and will stay there again!

4th of July

This was a perfect place to stay. Great view of beach and the sunsets. Plenty of places close by to eat. The room itself was good. Had minor issue with toilet which was fixed by maintenance in a timely manner. The elevator was shotty. Never knew where it would land. A couple did get stuck in it while we were there. All in all I would stay here again. Just maybe take the stairs.

Best Condo & Location!

The pictures of the condo were exactly what the condo looked like. Bright, beautiful & clean! The bathrooms were clean with nice showers. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes. Everything you would need to cook. The condo was spacious & the beds were comfortable & each bedroom had a TV. The view overlooking the beach was beautiful & you are literally steps away from the sandy beach. It was a really nice surprise to see beach chairs in the closet along with an umbrella & boogie boards. Those came in handy on the beach. My only suggestions would be is to leave extra pillow cases in the closet so the spare pillows could be used as some people like to sleep with more than one pillow. The ceiling fan in the spare bedroom had no fan blades so couldn’t use fan. And we kept on hitting our head on the chandelier that was hanging in the dining area as there was no table under it. You wouldn’t need a table there as the counter has four chairs but removing the chandelier would be good before it gets broke by someone’s head hitting it. Otherwise this place was amazing. Felt totally safe & didn’t want to leave. Loved it & highly recommend it!

Treasure Island Thanksgiving stay

The property is very good. Ocean front really is ocean front. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you might need to make a decent meal. The only issues we had were with the elevator. It is a little quirky. Sometimes it just passes by and doesn't stop and sometimes it won't go unless you open the doors and start over. But the beach is good out front and we liked the location in relations to grocery store and John's Pass Boardwalk. And the view from the balcony is beautiful!

Great location!

TV is not very user friendly and the TV in Master Bedroom is DVD only. Getting a hold of manager was not easy. However, overall VERY CLEAN and easy cleanup! Many BEACH amenities are available, including beach chairs!! We will go back to 403!

Nice place

Wonderful time. Have stayed at Sunset Chateau many times in the past 15 years. First time in this unit. Has the most comfortable beds in any place we have ever stayed. Kitchen was well stocked. The only minuses were that only one TV! No TV in 2nd bedroom, TV in master had only a DVD player. Also limited linens on hand. Not enough towels or washcloth, no extra bedding at all. But enjoyed the stay.

Perfect location, beautiful, clean beach

Check in process and communication with Vacasa was accurate, easy, and a breeze. The pics online are exactly what you get with this rental. The beaches were gorgeous and clean. The condo had everything needed to make yourself at home. However, We had a few complaints during our stay. When we arrived the front door/ screen door were sticking and not properly working. While cleaning and packing on our last day, we noticed a glass of old milk under the bed, which told us that it had not been cleaned very well before we checked in (gross). The kitchen counters had an ant issue, which forced us to keep everything in the fridge. The couch cover was stained and looked as if it had not been cleaned before we checked in. Overall, we still had a decent stay, it just would have been more comfortable if all of those issues had not existed. FYI to anyone planning a trip here. Please call the customer service number while checking in if you have any issues during your stay, we almost got charged for the screen and front door as it was blamed on us. We didn’t call because we were on vacation and the door was fine as is, we thought we could call afterwards. That was a mistake. We didn’t get charged, however, it was pretty unsettling to be blamed for it. The lady was nice to my husband on the phone.. with all of that being said, and the issues with cleanliness, we will not stay at this rental in the future.

Loved the gulf in backyard

Great location and a very nice place. Wished there were extra blankets and towels. Also had to throw away nu.erous items of food due to water ants getting in boxes of food items. Would definitely rent again!
