    - This 2-story home requires an exterior staircase to enter, and all bedrooms are on the 2nd floor and require interior stairs to access. Additionally, this is a historic home with tall, steep stairs both indoors and outdoors
    - The garage is not available for guest use
    - The bunk bed in bedroom 2 has been replaced with a twin daybed with a trundle bed that converts to a king bed
    - Your safety matters. This property features 3 exterior security cameras. Camera 1 is a Ring doorbell device with an exterior security camera facing the front outdoor entry, camera 2 is on the garage keypad facing the alley, and camera 3 is on the back of the home facing the patio. The cameras do not look into any interior spaces. Camera 1 records video only, no sound, when activated by motion; cameras 2 and 3 continuously record video and sound while guests are in residence

Comfortable and classy

Easily one of the most well designed, coolest historic buildings I’ve stayed in.They really did an excelllent job with it.

This home and neighborhood are lovely. Both have tons of charm and beautiful details. Our pup enjoyed the sniff walk to the small, grassy park at the end of the quiet street. The kitchen had many great features and had been beautifully renovated. The home and beds were comfortable and well appointed. The only reason I didn't give this an "excellent" rating is with an outside (very bright) landscaping light aimed directly at the front of the house, the bedrooms need black-out curtains. The pull down shades were translucent, and the morning sun and front yard landscaping light shone brightly into the bedrooms. Otherwise, we would stay here again and again. Loved the beautiful space and charming street!

Family Visit

Perfect house near our son. enough room for 3 adults and 1 toddler and newborn baby . Beautiful neighborhood with lovely Lafayette Park nearby. Will definitely stay here on futre visits to St Louis.

Cute and Convenient

What a great place to stay for a vacation in the city. My kids loved the house, as did the adults, and it was really close to all the attractions in the city to visit. Very safe street and lovely interior of the home. Beds were comfortable and everything inside worked as it was supposed to. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in the St Louis area.

Stunning home in a perfect location

We could not have asked for a better rental for our family trip to St. Louis. There’s nothing like Lafayette Square and we loved walking the gorgeous neighborhood to dinner, coffee and the park. The property is a stunning mix of historic elements with beautiful modern touches. We felt so at home there and will definitely be back!

St Louis Trip

The house is lovely. Needs some maintenance in the upstairs bathroom shower, and a few batteries replaced for the fans. There is only on street parking available there is no driveway. The house does have a grill which is a great addition.

Beautiful home and location

Visited over Thanksgiving and enjoyed cooking in the beautiful kitchen. The home had historic charm and modern conveniences. Plenty of room for hanging out. As can be the case in older homes, the bedroom level upstairs was always chilly, but the beds were super comfortable and there were plenty of linens. We had unexpected snow, which was beautiful though without a shovel or broom, made the steps to the house a little tricky.

When arriving we were greeted with ice covered steps which hadn’t been salted. Very treacherous carrying luggage up two sets of steps. The house was freezing cold and took hours to heat up. The listing said there was a king bedroom, a queen bedroom with a kids bunk bed and a double over double bunk room. However the house had a king bedroom, a queen room with a single daybed, and a kids bunk bed with twin beds. We had 8 adults in our group so we had to put 3 people in the king bed. The mattress in one of the bunks had to be pulled off onto the floor so that it could be slept on by an adult. There is no heat in two of the bedrooms upstairs so it was freezing the first night and we bought a heater for the second night. The kitchen only had two serving spoons, no whisk and limited other items to cook with. Also had no access to a washer and dryer. Other than those downsides the house was beautiful and well kept.
