Family-Friendly, King & Queen beds, steps to Metrolink+ Off-Street Parking

Book your 5⭐️ stay in this spacious 2 bedroom/1 bath suite in the desirable DeBaliviere neighborhood. Only a 2 block walk from Forest Park & its Metrolink train stop, your group will have access to everything the city has to offer. This 100 year-old historic home is only blocks from Forest Park, the site of the 1904 World's Fair.

UPDATE: On May 16, 2025 the Forest Park area was hit with a mile-wide tornado. Our building had minimal damage and maintains 100% occupancy. Some of the buildings along our street suffered roof damage, broken windows and uprooted trees. The city has cleaned up and the area is getting back to normalcy.

"Suites in the Lou" offers 6 private short term rental suites in one building - great for a large group which may want to all stay in one place. Walkable to Forest Park, the Metrolink train stop, the Delmar Loop, restaurants, and shopping. These can all be found online at "SuitesintheLou". This 2nd floor 2-bedroom/1 bath suite sleeps 5 guests. Enjoy a king bedroom for you plus a second bedroom with a queen & twin bed.

After stocking the refrigerator, cook up a family dinner and enjoy it around the table in the large eat-in kitchen. Other amenities include:

The host is available via text messaging as needed. Am happy to share tips on St. Louis attractions and restaurants.

Close to the Pageant, Barnes Jewish & Children's hospitals (BJC), St. Louis Zoo, St. Louis Art Museum, St. Louis Science Center, The Muny, WashU & St. Louis University, and it is walking distance from Forest Park.
Quick & Easy access (via Metrolink) to the Arch, Busch Stadium, the Enterprise Center, St. Louis Aquarium, City Museum, Union Station, St. Louis City Soccer, Lambert Airport, and more.
Need to get around town? Metrolink, buses and quick access to Forest Park Parkway and I-170 makes it easy.

A Metrolink station is conveniently located in DeBaliviere Place. You can hop on the Skinker/DeBaliviere stop and head all the way to the Lambert International Airport or right downtown. We're proud that our neighborhood boasts excellent public transit. We're also centrally located, so you can take a short walk, ride, or drive to the Delmar Loop, Washington University, the Central West End, or Forest Park. There are plenty of quality dining, retail, and entertainment choices that are within walking distance. DeBaliviere Place simply presents the best that St. Louis has to offer.

How to Find our Building: Because we are on a dead-end street, you can only access our address coming from the East. There is no direct access from DeBaliviere Avenue.

Fenced Parking: Access to the parking lot is only available after you arrive and check into your unit. A remote to the gate (currently not functioning) and a key to your back door entrance will be waiting for you on the kitchen counter. In the meantime, feel free to find a parking spot out front on the street.

The host was very helpful communicative with details about checking in and out. Amenities like coffee and paper towels were perfect for our short stay! Location was exactly what we needed for visits to the zoo and Forest park with lots of fun restaurants nearby. We can't recommend Clementine's vegan ice cream enough! It's not the host's responsibility at all and we're used to extra noise with kids, but there are some pretty barky dogs in the building during the day.

Perfect location

This apartment was fantastic! It’s in a neat old brick building, really clean and great communication before and during the visit. Very quiet at night. Beds were very comfortable. Location is perfect: literally around the corner from the metro stop that takes you to the airport or downtown and walk another block you’ll be in Forest Park. We went to the Gateway Arch and it was easy, so nice not to have to deal with driving and finding parking downtown. Highly recommend this place!

Accurate description, good location, good communication, cozy & full of character

Communication with and directions from owner were very good. Apt was just as described. Nice location near Forest Park and an easy drive to DT St. Louis. Apt was well-equipted for our 1 week stay for myself, husband, and 2 boys (5 &8). Needs were VERY comfortable, as were pillows!

Convenient location

Our first time to the area. We found it very easy to get places quickly- local spots to eat but also major spots like the zoo, the Arch, the Science Center...enjoyed a quiet stay here as well.

Perfect!

This suite was absolutely perfect for our family and three small dogs. The neighborhood is absolutely beautiful and very dog friendly. We would definitely book again. Suite was well maintained, beds were comfy, common area was great as well. The secure parking in back was great as well. Parking on the street is ok as well. We saw security driving thru several times during our stay. A+++++

Clean place, great communication

I don’t know what our kids were picturing knowing it was 100 years old, but they walked in and were so impressed. The apartment was clean and well maintained. Directions were easy to follow and problems we ran in to were out of the landlords control and she communicated well with us through it.

Thanksgiving in STL

Warm and cozy suite, close to WashU and convenient to most places near town. Loved the keyless door entries and the gated parking. I recommend the ground floor when traveling with a pet. It made it much easier for our dog to adjust to new temporary home.

Very noisy, not great for dogs

The property seems well taken care of for it's age and the property manager was nice, but there was a family of six with small children booked on the 3rd floor above us....it sounded like a herd of elephants when they were there. I had to pay full price for the suite despite not being able to fully relax, sleep in at all, and the running around upstairs made my dog very nervous. No warning of that or making sure we were okay with that setup. I wouldn't have booked it if i had known that would be the situation.
