Hermosa casa de pueblo con grandes ventanas orientadas al oeste y una increíble luz natural. Estamos perfectamente ubicados al otro lado de la calle de un espacio verde del vecindario y cerca del hermoso Parque Lafayette. El centro de convenciones, el Busch Stadium y el centro de Scottrade se encuentran a 5 minutos en automóvil o salte el tráfico y tome un Uber / Taxi. This is an older place with lovely character. The couch and the king bed were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The location was fabulous. Close to everything, and felt like a very safe neighborhood. The host was very quick to answer any question. I had one problem that was fixed within minutes (missing hairdryer). We thoroughly enjoyed this place and would stay again.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed in this property. First thing, when we walked in we were overwhelmed with such a strong odor of incense. We could not open any windows either. The house is in need of serious repair. Cabinets are close to falling off, haven't been washed in a long time as you could see dirt on them. The worst, was that we couldn't take a shower because there was nothing to turn the shower on with. The bathtub turned on, but there was nothing that turned the shower on. There was also no instructions on the property with whom to call if there was an emergency or an issue. I don't usually leave poor reviews, but we were very very disappointed.

This home should not be on VRBO. It may have been in great shape in previous years, unfortunately, that was not the case during our stay. While the owner made check in easy and was responsive when the internet went out, upon entering the home, you are greeted with the damp, "rank" smell of mildew and mold. There is clearly water damage as the walls and ceilings are buckling. The air vents were also dirty. If you have asthma, do NOT rent this unit. The home is also leaning. So much so that the refrigerator door won't close unless you intentionally do not let go because it will just remain open. Same goes for the microwave. Cooking is a breeze if you are used to doing everything on one side. While cooking, everything slides to one side due to the terribly slipping foundation. Stairs are steep in a leaning house so be careful going up and down as they are slippery. Pest Control: there was a "bag" of mouse deterrent in the kitchen pantry and it was filthy. Lots of spiders and other insects live here as well. If we could have left, we would have.

It is on a quite street with parking out front, and a great very large park nearby. Public transportation including light rail is with in .5 miles. Walgreens very close. Lots of great restaurants in area. Much less expensive than Union station where my event was being held. Very well decorated and has all the amenities one needs. Structurally the building/floor could use some work but the build is very old and the owners are getting it done.

Very convenient location close to Busch Stadium, Botantical Garden, The Hill, and Central West End. Close to highway so a little loud at night but otherwise fine.

DONT STAY HERE!

I actually did not stay at the location, I booked the townhouse for my soon and I for a weekend. My son is in the Military stationed at Fort Leonard wood. I opted fir a townhome instead of hotel, because I wanted him to have his own bed & room as well as an living room area so we could catchup. The house was not as advertised. There was a lot of damage to the structure of the home, musty smells and there was the stove top had some dirt on it. The neighborhood also felt precarious. I immediately called the host and advised him I could not stay there. Said he had to talk to his partner. In the meantime I was beside myself with a wonderful uber driver that agreed he would not stay there either! I anxiously called hotels to find something more appropriate after 15 minutes I found a hotel that could at least accommodate me and my son for Friday only. Called the host and asked for a full refund, I showed up & did my part, someone should not be forced to stay and pay for accommodations that they feel are less than advertised, where they feel uncomfortable staying. I am still awaiting what I pray will be a full refund since I had to pay for 2 places to stay, additional transportation costs, parking and most valuable time trying to resolve the.

Great stay in S. Louis

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay. The location of the house was awesome. It has great food options, parks and other within walking distance of the house. The host was very quick to response when we had a question.

The place was not bad. You can tell it is definitely older. However it had what you need and centralized enough to get to evefything to do within about 15 to 20 minutes.

Not cleaned and ready for the stay

We arrived and opened the door easily. The front room had not been cleaned. Door Dash sacks all over the living room. Dirt and food on the floor. Went into The kitchen there was a brownie in the microwave. Went upstairs beds were not made and no toilet paper in the bathroom. No towels Called the owner. We asked for a refund. The owner asked for pictures. He didn’t realize there was a booking the day before ours so the place didn’t get cleaned. It was a nice place if it would’ve been cleaned properly We sent him pictures. He told us our payment would be returned promptly and it was Ended up Staying in town in a hotel. Quite a disappointment to say the least

Not what I was expecting.

The host was quick at responding and super nice. However, we had a couple reservations about the place. We were expecting a place to park off the street but there wasn’t anything. Didn’t realize it was more of a back of the building type place. The bottle of soap in the bathroom didn’t work, the tv remote didn’t work, and the king sized bed had the biggest divot that I slept on my partners side the entire time. It was also super hot upstairs the entire time, even with the fan running nonstop. The good parts of the stay consisted of the shower having great water pressure and lots of hot water, and the house had everything that we could need (plates, towels, etc).

Dirt In December

The listing didn't show a photo of the outside of the property, so we were concerned. We actually drove by it twice. It was super easy to get into & although it didn't have curb appeal, the parking was great & the inside was tastefully decorated. They had a Keurig with pods, so that was nice. The couch was comfy. The heat worked great & I loved the shower/water pressure. The WORST part of our experience was the "king sized bed." My husband is tall & a wild sleeper, so i usually try to get a king bed. This bed was awful. There was a HUGE dip in the middle of it, so we were constantly rolling toward the middle that first night. It was so bad, I woke up with a sore hip & back that next morning. That next night, I pulled the mattress pad back to visually see the huge dip in the memory foam of that king sized bed. I ended up sticking a pillow in the hole, so my right hip would me flat/level & it worked! So by then, our friends had arrived & slept in the other bedroom in a queen size bed. I tried to trade them rooms, but they said it was awful, so i checked it out... It was hard like cardboard or something, but it was also worn out, because it had a dip in the middle of it too! So i just kept the king pillow un the big hollow spot in our king bed & called it good. Not that we needed a washer & dryer, but i wasn't sure it we needed to strip the beds or not. Cute place in a great location, but having a good night's rest is pretty important, especially out of town.

Overpriced booked for hot tub that dont exsit

Had alittle extra to spend so i had been wanting a hot tub and this said just that so i booked and paid extra ended up with no hot tub no washser or dryer and a bed that caved in and hot water that scorched your akin off just for the owner to give a bad review haha what a joke
