Location Location***** ! A HOME, away from home. Literally 1min walk from the front door to the edge of Carondolet park! THE #2 park imo with lots of amenities such as. Bike path, Tennis & Pickle ball, Soccer field, Playground, Public fishing etc etc. Park one car in Garage & off street for another, Very safe neighborhood ! Just 5-15 min from ALL major attractions such as, Mo. Botanical gardens, St Louis Zoo, Aquarium, AB Brewery tour, Downtown Arch grounds & MORE! BOOK NOW! BBQ & Fire Pit!!

This South City St. Louis home has been well thought out with modern conveniences , and a minimalist somewhat rustic & modern style. I am proud to offer this newer build (2001) home now in my home city of St Louis Mo. GO CARDS!! & Happy to be able to offer it up to guests who can enjoy all the Uniqueness and Historic significance that the Carondelet area of St Louis has to offer. Work from home in Style & with Convenient access to Carondelet park and the YMCA literally across the street.

( Newer 2001 build , Meaning less of a chance for annoying maintenance calls interrupting your vacation & or long work from home stay!!)

Outdoor space fenced with backyard , concrete patio & Low smoke firepit/BBQ grill combo!!

Boasting 3 bedrooms & 2 FULL Bathrooms with the master having a KING bed, small work station & an on-suite bath. 2 Queen Bedrooms one of which doubles as the office making for an additional and private space to work from home. Queen pull out Sofa bed in the living room for extra sleeping space for kiddos. AND laundry area all on the main level. Which is no easy task to find in this part of the city. As most of the homes were built near the turn of the century.

You should want for nothing when staying here. I provide a starter pack of all basic amenities such as. Coffee , Shampoo , Conditioner , Body wash , Toilet paper & Paper towels, Laundry tabs , Dishwasher tabs , Hand soap , Dish soap. We provide 10 towels, hand towels & wash cloths. Free access to the main level washer & dryer. Convenient & FREE PARKING!! for up to Three vehicles.

Kitchen is fully stocked & I mean fully! All pots & pans such as roasting pan with crisping rack, loaf pan , sheet pans , sauce pans & fry pans. Service for 8 with dishes and silverware. All necessary tools like measuring spoons & cup, can opener , Beer & Wine Bottle openers ;) etc etc.

Small appliances such as... 4 way Coffee maker, French press, Electric Kettle , Coffee grinder, I am a coffee freak so when staying at my place it is important to me others can get that right cup! Please Ask about my "Been there
series "coffee cups exchange promotion!! Just A fun idea i had ;)

As well as , Good Blender with single serve smoothie cups and larger option for frozen drinks etc. , Multi cooker for rice, slow cooking etc.

Access to Washer and dryer on main level of the home, Iron & ironing board , Even a Clothing steamer.

A car is recommended however not completely necessary as Uber is convenient affordable given the close proximity to restaurants , attractions and events.

Walk to destinations-

Carondelet Park - 1min walk to edge of park. 5-8min walk to Pavillions & Boathouse. In 30-45min you can walk the entire parks bike path loop!! Grab a cup of coffee and do this and thank me later.

Loughborough Commons , A nice plaza including Starbucks, Food options Qdoba Mexican eats, Burger King , Schnucks Grocery store etc. Nice & safe 11min Walk through the park setting to the plaza!

Saint Louis Little Bar , A cool little local bar in a civil war era building dating back to 1870s. With a nice outdoor patio in back.Tell Adam the bartender Justin from Airbnb sent you.

Holly Hills dr., Walk down this street to observe all the Historic architecture from the late 1800s and early 1900s. The French & Spanish styling and park setting makes a nice walk. Especially around the fall season and Holidays!!

Just a 25min or so 22 miles drive from Stl. Lambert Intl Airport to the unique and historic Carondelet Neighborhood in St Louis

Macklind ave - 10 min for great food options such as Russells cafe to get your St. Louis staple gooey butter cakes, Sisters Sandwiches & coffee. Very cool little street with live music at times.

S. Grand dining district- Just a 5-10min drive to Like a restaurant row with a solid mix of food options including. Thai , Turkish , Brazilian , Sushi , Persian , Italian sweets , Vietnamese , Vegan options , Pizza , Burgers , Bars & more !

Yard maintenance will be performed periodically every 2 weeks at unspecified times. Never super early.

Please report any Home maintenance issues immediately as needed. Any scheduled home maintenance other than Front/backyard will be communicated with at least 24hr notice.

Guests may be asked to put trash cans out on scheduled pick up days.
Must read and agree to house rules before completing booking. No parties or events are allowed at this home. If found to be having an undisclosed party or event there will be a $1000 fee assessed. (party or event is defined as a large gathering of any kind with more that the maximum number of guests allowed in the house, being 8 total.) You WILL also be asked to leave without refund by our on-call security service. Our motion/sound activated cameras are monitored 24/7 by our on-call security service. We will be notified if number of guests exceed what is listed in your booking details.

Pet fee required to bring any dog. Please let me know the Breed, age & weight of your dog and ask about my pet fee in your inquiry. Any undisclosed pet will incur a $250 pet fee.

Cleaning fee is simply a turnover fee. This is to insure you will have freshly laundered Sheets, towels , face towels, hand towels, kitchen towels. Also To be sure to have Body Soap , hand soap , Shampoo, Conditioner , laundry soap, dishwashing soap. Light cleaning products. Guests are expected to clean up after themselves, wash and dry and put away their own dishes. Please be kind to the cleaning crew as they are people too. Sometimes turnovers can be tight so it helps them tremendously if you do your part. Thank you in advance.

No refunds will be issued for minor cleanliness errors as in a loose hair here or there. We will always offer to make things right and send cleaners back if need be within 24 hrs of check in but we will not refund whether partially or in full. No modifications shall be made to the stay after check in for minor issues related to cleaning or complaints of pet allergies. This is a pet friendly home and as hard as we work to remove all pet hair that is impossible and we cannot control it , In a pet friendly home you will always find some small traces of pet hair. We will not refund or modify reservations due to pet allergies.

No excessive noise or loud music. St. Louis city noise ordinance violations can and will result in $250 per guest fines from the county. As well as immediate termination of your stay and forfeiture of the $300 security deposit.

A/C usage : Do not change thermostat programming. Please do not use "Permanent Hold" feature on the thermostat. Only use Temporary hold. Residential A/C units need to be able to go on/off periodically or they risk freezing the coils. Thermostat schedule is set to prevent this. Temporary hold can be used to adjust for comfort levels. Extra guest fees... 6 guests only are included in the advertised price. This is how we keep the house affordable for smaller groups. Larger groups are billed at $35 per head per night beyond 6 guests. ( ie 7th,8th) Accurate guest count is required by our insurance. Perimeter cameras detect motion. If we find that the guest count is inaccurate you will be sent a payment request for the extra guest fees. This must be paid within 2 hrs or you will be asked to leave the property by on-call security. More guests = more wear & tear on the property, water , power etc etc. Thank you.

By confirming your booking you hereby release owner of any liability for any illnesses or injuries incurred on or off the property. Confirming this booking also releases owner of any liability for illnesses or injuries of any guests that are part of your group or anyone invited into the home by any party of your group.

There are 3 active security cameras on premises. They are motion/sound activated. One at the front door, one at the driveway as well as one covering the back door.

My cancellation policy will be enforced. It is highly suggested that you purchase travel insurance to cover yourself in case the unexpected

We could not have asked for a better place for our family to stay this week. The house was roomy. The park was just steps from the front door. The host was helpful our entire stay. It also helps that Starbucks is close by. Thank you do everything. We loved our stay here.

Convenient - visit close to family

Home is remodeled inside with newer appliances. Fully stocked kitchen but we did not cook anything here. Our family was nearby so we ate together with family. The rental was very convenient and clean. Adequate for what we needed. The street we stayed on was close to Carondelet Park, maybe 3-4 blocks but in a more rundown neighborhood in South City.

Barking dog house in ghetto bring earplugs!

This was our 1st and last time with a VRBO. We were warned by a family member not to use Vrbo, they also had a terrible tale to tell. We needed a place to stay in StLouis because our mother was having an extensive surgery, she needed a place that she could rest and relax before her surgery, she got neither of these! There are dogs on each side of this house. One of the dogs stays out all night and barks at every noise it hears, the other dog is put out at 7am and barks incessantly all day long with few breaks, the owner of the dog never tried to silence it. We are not familiar with the StLouis area and didn't know good and bad parts of town (my bad for not researching on my own, I just believed the listing) this house is in the ghetto! The beautiful park, the part that was across the street was a grassy knowll that one of the days when we walked the dog we watched a homeless person shooting up! Whoever cleans the place is a swiper, swipe marks on the stainless appliances. The floor made our socks and bare feet black, I was expecting that because I read a review that said their kids socks were dirty. The owner assured me that they are mopped after each stay, maybe they just used water to clean. The owner was very pleasant to text with outside of insulting my intelligence that I didn't know how to use a cable box that had no connection to the tv, he said there was plenty of content to watch on the roku tv. The main issue with us was the dogs barking, and the neighborhood.

Nice little house

Nice little 3 bedroom with 2 bathroom home in a good neighborhood. The backyard was fenced in with acuple benches and a fire pit. Beds were fairly comfortable. The kitchen had everything you would need to make a meal. With in 15 minutes of downtown.

The house is super cute and a perfect spot to have a few people stay. It is very well stocked with everything you might need. Backyard is very nice to hangout and grill ( but bring bug spray! haha). The house isn’t exactly kid friendly, I will say. There were lots of things that were easily accessible for children that could have been dangerous for them, so be prepared to watch your kids closely inside. The furniture and such isn’t the highest quality, but I think you can expect that from a vrbo. Just don’t expect the couch/beds to be the best places you e ever sat/slept, and you’ll be good. The property manager was very communicative and helpful, and was always willing to find solutions for minor things that came up. It is also conveniently located. I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice place!

The house was very cute and fully stocked to cook meals for our family of 4! Justin was very helpful and accessible as he recommended restaurants and things to do. The only thing that would’ve made our stay even more like home, would’ve been tv’s in all 3 bedrooms. Thanks for a great experience in St. Louis. I highly recommend this property!

Park near by was great for littlest family member. House very comfortable for our 4 adults and 1 child. Well stocked too. Justin was very responsive to any questions we had and he also provided recommendations for food and activities. We had a great time.

Very nice property

The property owner, Justin, was fantastic. Great communications before and after booking. He responded quickly to questions. The cable TV was not working upon our arrival and Justin called the cable company, scheduled a technician to accommodate my schedule, and got the problem solved very quickly. The Roku TV worked great and provided lots of options for TV watching in our down time. The house is as advertised. Very comfortable beds, clean, and modern furnishings. Good closet space and all the conveniences of home. The neighbors next door and across the street were friendly. Our only complaint is that the floors needed to be washed; our white socks turned dark on the bottoms from walking around the house in our socks - a minor issue that did not diminish our pleasure with the rental.
