Amazing vacation at Galley Bay cottages! The location is peaceful and relaxing and the cottage has everything you could need. Marco was very friendly and set us up with a fantasic driver who helped us out with rides throughout our stay. We will be back next year for sure.

Stayed in a lovely cottage, Marco was incredibly helpful and kind and Omar helped us get wherever we needed to go or whatever we needed. One of the beaches was a 3 minute walk away. We really highly recommended Gallery Bay Cottages!

The cottage was fabulous, the view was beautiful, my only reservation was the cottage being up a fairly steep hill (well steep for me) otherwise I couldnt nor would want to fault it. The actual Galley Bay beach has no sun beds or refreshments but that said the smaller bay has a patch of grass you can lay on, more shade and a much smaller unihabited bay. Absolutely loved it all

We loved our stay in the Spice cottage! We really felt like we were in a treehouse with the birds so close. This is a great place to stay with kids. Beaches nearby are wonderful!

I had amazing time here very rustic & quite 1-3 min walk to the beach was beautiful view from the room amazing ocean view everything morning. Marco very responsive host. Omar was amazing he knows so much about the island & can connect u to anywhere & anyone. Would definitely come back. No tv i enjoyed not having one.

Beautiful, spacious room with a view. The room was pretty much perfect. Marco was a friendly, responsive and reliable host who clearly decorated his rooms with care. "Treehouse" was very spacious for 1 and would be perfect for a couple. Internet was fast and the AC worked fine. The room was clean and a few minutes walk from the beach. There's not much around though, so bring your groceries!

Beautiful cottage in Antigua

Great stay with beach views and 10 mins walking from Galley Bay beach; we were greeted at the airport by cottage staff who took us to the cottage (following her car) and even showed us the nearest supermarket. We had a great stay here and would recommend to anyone looking for a nice quiet cozy cottage not far from the centre but in its own own nature world

A very quiet location with a balcony overlooking the sea. There is a distant view of cruise ships going in and out of St Johns. The beach was hidden by trees behind the beach but Access was easy via a gate in the fence of the resort backing onto the beach. The return from the beach was via a road up hill then a steep ramp followed by a series of uneven steps and short, uneven paths. Breeze cottage was very well equipped with all you would normally need including gas BBQ. The air con was fine but only required at night, sea breezes providing a pleasant effect. The WiFi operated well and log on was without difficulty.

Amazing cottage, I stayed in Breeze by myself. Roomy, breeze through the windows was amazing, view is amazing. Short walk to beach, right down the hill, no beach chairs though. Owners were responsive when I had questions or needs. The driveway is steep and taxi's can not drive up, so just be mindful of that, you gotta lug everything up that so pack accordingly. I had a local that did my driving and tours which allowed me to fully relax. Beautiful island and property. Bed was comfortable! Will definately stay here again!

Beautiful Views!

My stay at Galley Bay Cottages in Antigua was a great experience. The cottage was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the views of the ocean were absolutely stunning. The property is a quiet and serene retreat with easy access to the beach. A major highlight was the hostess, Michela, who went out of her way to make sure I got to the cottage and that I was comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. While I greatly enjoyed my time there, there were a few minor issues. The parking area was very rugged, and the path to the cottage was a steep climb that wasn't well-lit at night. The air conditioning was only in the bedroom, and there was no TV in the room. Despite these small drawbacks, the breathtaking views and exceptional hospitality from Michela made for a memorable and relaxing getaway.

Our host was above and beyond. He met us 30 mins away so we could follow him to the cottages. He also stopped along the way to show us points of interest, local food, and access to the beach. The cottage was even better than expected. We had all basic ammenities plus more. Very well kept property. Beautiful view. Walking distance to the Galley Bay Beach. Short drive for a couple options of basic groceries and good open air restaurant food. (Also short drive to other beaches including Long Bay and Hawks Bill beaches. We also recommend going up the hill from his place to the top of the little mountain. Great view of St. Johns on one side, beautiful mountain view, and beautiful sunset over the water. It’s unfortunate that the Galley Bay Resort that is located just beneath the Galley Bay Cottages is completely off limits and therefore dining is finding local eateries in the area that are not consistent with price, sanitation and food handling. You can access the beach just a walk down the path and it’s gated around the resort, but heaven forbid you touch any chairs! You will be scolded by security who monitors the beach line from the resort. The cabs are limited to 2-3 people who are often already booked to take people around the island so make sure you bring running shoes cause you’ll likely be walking your way around unless you wish to wait for a long while for someone to come to you. The overall cottage was nice, the cleaner came a day before I was leaving so I didn’t get fresh towels all week, and she stole my cigarettes. I had to pay over $100 upon arriving for the cleaning lady. I didn’t make a fuss about it, I just accepted it as it was. I will return to the island but will be making other arrangements that are closer to amenities rather than being placed at one end of the island away from everything. Overall experience from 1-10 was 4.

The communication and check in were smooth. Location is alright, 10min walk from the beach, which offers good privacy. Nice touches with sun cream, towels and some basic cooking ingredients (salt, oil, coffee, some cereals, and biscuits). The half-working grill let us cook some fresh fish. There is one parking spot for all cottages, which was great for our rental car, which highly recommend to have if going to this accommodation. The wifi connection is acceptable for a Zoom call. In total honesty, however, we do not understand the good reviews that led us to book this stay. The pictures seem much better than the place actually is. The cottage is little more than a shed which has clearly not been deep cleaned in quite some time. The fridge holders are very rusty, the shower curtain is dirty, and everything is very run down. The mosquito nets have many holes, which is not comforting given we found 8 large cockroaches one night that were walking over the bednet (picture attached), crawling out of various cracks in the cottage. The aircon is partly broken, we had an electricity cut for several hours and the shower is little more than a dribble, which makes cleaning off the beach sand an ordeal. Overall it is not too expensive compared with other stays but really bad value for money. We were hopping around different accommodations in the island and this was by far the worst price to quality ratio. We would strongly recommend anyone to find a better option if available.

Fantastic cottage, great location. Ideal for a quiet getaway and close enough to beaches, Five Islands Village and St John's. Only minor thing is it could do with a lick of paint here and there! We had a great stay and would give the cottage the highest recommendation.
