We believe that visiting St. John will be one of the most wonderful vacations ever for you, a chance to recapture yourself.

SURFSIDE and SUNSWEPT are our studio, one and two bedroom units. Only two persons MAXIMUM in our studio.

This premium studio is in the back building on the ideal 3rd floor beside the elevator. Enjoy morning coffee on your private roofed balcony with granite counter just steps from the turquoise waters and beach. Gaze at the harbor, ferry dock, and outlaying islands and watch the comings and goings of marine activity. Ease into the day, enjoying cool breezes as the island awakens. An ideal size for two adults, this especially quiet unit is located on the third floor of waterfront building D.

Featuring shades of aqua, blue and green, our oceanfront studio offers a sitting area with sleeper sofa and large flat screen TV (60 cable channels and DVD player), Tommy Bahama king size bed and dresser, full bath, washer/dryer, and granite-topped kitchenette equipped with microwave, full refrigerator, sink, coffee maker, toaster, and blender; and your own private balcony and entrance.

In addition to tropical landscaping and well-kept grounds, Grande Bay resort offers an appealing pool and sun deck as well as hot tub and state-of-the-art fitness center.The front desk of the lobby is staffed 24-7 to answer questions. An elevator transports you and your luggage right to your door. For a fee, our property manager will greet you at the Cruz Bay ferry dock and transport you to Grande Bay.

Later, catch an open air taxi to the world-renowned north shore beaches (Hawksnest, Trunk Bay, Cinnamon, Maho, etc.) minute away. (We provide beach chairs, towels, and a cooler.) In the evening, walk the short block to town for light fare at the Beach Bar or High Tide or enjoy a gourmet dinner at the Waterfront Bistro, Morgan's Mango, or the Lime Inn. And this is only your first day in paradise!

Everything went great! Very clean...nicely appointed unit, with an incredible view! We had one small issue with our safe, but the on-site staff resolved it right away. Definitely a must stay at St John/Cruz Bay!

We enjoyed staying at Sunswept! The views from this suite are great! The property is well kept and clean and the managers are very helpful! We enjoy staying at Grande Bay for the convenience to restaurants, shopping, music and the National Park. Watching the boats come and go while enjoying morning coffee is a pleasure. We will be back again!

Wonderful stay

We stayed in this lovely studio for 9 nights. It is clean, well decorated & well appointed with the things you need. We’ve stayed at Grand Bay many times and love that it’s walking distance to all the best shops, bars, restaurants, and the taxi stand. The photo below shows the actual view from the deck, and it’s the best for sunset.

Excellent location in Cruz Bay

This studio is great for couples. The location is excellent for walking to the majority of the very good restaurants in Cruz Bay. We rented a Jeep for four of the days we were there to explore other areas of St. John and that worked out very well. The Grande Bay complex is nice, with a good pool and jacuzzi and large enough deck area with lounge chairs and umbrellas. If you plan to cook just note that you will need to use the hot plates provided as there is no stove or range top. This was not an issue for us as we only cooked breakfast, I just want to note it for others considering the property. Having the washer/dryer was great, especially helpful for the beach towels, etc. The area that this studio was in was quiet and we had no issues during our nine days there. Thank you so much!

We enjoyed our stay- convenient location to beach and restaurants. Comfortable bed and nice property overall. We ate breakfast in our room every morning and ate out lunches and dinner. Enjoyed coffee on the balcony. Beautiful views for sure.

Perfect Location

This was the 2nd time we stayed in Grande Bay. It’s a perfect location! This unit, however, needs an update. There were no glasses, minimal set of plates, and an old cooler. A real shower curtain would be nice as would a thorough cleaning.

Memorable week!
