Blue Orchid's prime Caribbean front location ensures privacy as well as incomparable views. Perched on the peninsula with nothing between you and the commanding 270-degree Caribbean Sea panorama, this unit is steps from the pool and a pristine, private snorkeling beach. High finish quality throughout this completely refurbished luxury 1BR / 1 Bath 750 sq ft suite accommodates 1-4 guests with a private MBR with king bed, plus a living room queen sleeper.

Swim, snorkel, or scuba dive at your doorstep, or sunbathe at our new pool with a built-in hot jacuzzi, and 3 expansive sun decks! Workout at our oceanfront fitness center, or relax on the oceanfront hammocks on the beautiful Gallows Point tropical gardens.

WiFi, front desk internet kiosk, cable TV, daily maid service, beach chairs/coolers/towels. Front desk, gift & concierge, restaurant. Five minutes to center of Cruz Bay.

The Gallows Point Resort features a 400 kw generator that can provide the entire resort with power in the event of a power outage.

Perfect location

Gallows point was the perfect Location. Just a quick walk to town and the Lind Point trail a hike to salmon beach and honeymoon beach. The views from the patio were amazing, very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed watching the boats come and go. Great snorkeling right outside your door. Would definitely come back for another wonderful trip to St John!

Wonderful Stay

Gallows Point a beautifully maintained complex. The condo was just as described and had everything we needed. The pool was perfect and the snorkeling among the rocks below the complex was awesome. The location was excellent, easy to walk to many restaurants and activity locations. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Perfect location and view

This was the perfect spot for the two of us - we enjoyed having a sunset cocktail on the patio with near 360 views, it is stunning. I agree with some of the other reviews that a dresser and some blinds in the bedroom would be helpful, but we made do with the closet and hanging a blanket over the door. Proximity to the pool was great as was walkability to town.

Island Life

Had a very nice time at Gallows Point - great location, very quiet time of the year which was what we were looking for. Front office staff VERY kind and helpful. Our view was perfect for coffee in the a.m. and a glass of wine at sunset. We cooked in more than we ate out (lots of restaurants were closed for the season) but had no trouble in the kitchen with that! We would definitely return to Gallows Point again.

Wow. Great location to have a view to the ocean (not facing town so pretty quiet) and walking distance to restaurants. We had a 5-year old and was still OK. Right next to the pool which overlooks the ocean. Would love to go back again.

Amazing place

15A at the Gallows was amazing. An outstanding view that we enjoyed every morning with coffee. Best Snorkeling of the entire island is right out the door. And the location was so convenient to everything in Cruz bay. The staff were wonderful at all times. Would absolutely stay there again on another vacation.

Beautiful Gallows Point

Our Gallows Point suite was amazing! What a perfect location. Quick walk into Cruz Bay and the best sunset views on the island. The pictures of the patio views from the listing don’t do it justice.

Great Escape

My wife and I enjoyed our stay to celebrate my 50th birthday. The property is close enough to walk to all the Cruz Bay highlights but far enough away to not be interrupted with loud parties. It was tranquil, quiet and absolutely beautiful. The pool deck and views are spectacular. We hope to be back.

Perfect location

The water is at your door step and beautiful, the accommodations were nice, clean and again the great views. Close enough to walk to town, but when on property you feel private and secluded away from town. The snorkeling was even great right around the resort too. Fantastic vacation.

Nice getaway

Beautiful location, right on the water. The outside deck was missing a chair for some reason, so we used one of the chairs from inside the apartment. The bedroom could use some sort of dresser for putting clothes away so you could unpack your suitcase...but other than that, it was very nice and clean. Great to have a full modern kitchen, too!

All I can say is this property lived up to it's billing Great location, clean, and updated. Check in was too easy, walked to the front desk, sign my name and was taken to the unit, and at 1:30pm. Would rent from Mr. Matheny again, no WILL rent from Mr. Matheny again and soon.

Sunsets in Paradise

We have been to St John many times, previously always staying at the same property, which was destroyed in the hurricane. I was a little apprehensive about a different place because we had loved the first one so much. Gallows Point 15-A did not disappoint! Richard was helpful in all aspects of our rental, recommending the concierge and explaining the process of getting from the airport and through checkin. Excellent property and excellent service!

Amazing view and location!

We've stayed at Gallows Point Resort before and enjoy the quiet and peaceful atmosphere and especially the benefit of being able to walk to Cruz Bay restaurants and shops. This unit had an amazing view. The bedroom could use some curtains to block the morning sun and a dresser, but otherwise it is well-appointed.
