Caribe Breeze is a very quiet, private villa that can accommodate up to 8 guests with new owners as of Dec 2024. It is now fully solar, off the grid. The villa was featured House Hunters International on the show "St. John Someday." Come see St. John’s natural beauty from Caribe Breeze.

Caribe Breeze boasts extraordinary, expansive views making it a wonderful place to relax - day or evening. British Virgin Islands are on the horizon, with breathtaking sun and moon rises. There are panoramic views of the Virgin Islands National Park, never to be developed. The sunrises and star-gazing are spectacular! Lay on a float in the pool at night and watch the shooting stars. The sound of the constant surf below is extremely calming.

There are two separate Master Suites (one King and one Queen) each with a lovely outdoor stone shower. Both the King and Queen Suites also have a single daybed for a child or extra guest. There is also a queen sleeper-sofa in the living area with its own private outdoor stone shower. Both bedrooms are reached by going outside and are not connected to the main living quarters, ensuring maximum privacy. The two lower suites have quiet Mitsubishi air conditioning. The villa can sleep up to eight comfortably. Pricing is based on two - four guests, and additional guests are $50 per person per night extra. The pool deck makes a great place to watch the tropical sunrises or enjoy a glass of wine or cold rum drink.
We have all the amenities of home, including large Roku TV, beach towels and chairs. This is a comfortable home with gorgeous interiors and furnishings.

You can walk to Salt Pond Bay and John's Folly Bay. There are several restaurants in Coral Bay and the Calabash Market is only 5 minutes away. There is excellent snorkeling just down the hill in John's Folly Bay, or drive a short distance to Salt Pond Bay and Lameshur Bay.

A rental car is a necessity. We recommend a jeep-type vehicle with some road clearance. It doesn't need to have 4WD. I have a list of all the rental agencies in St. John that I can provide, although Slim Man is a great choice. (It is also possible to rent a car in St. Thomas but it needs to be similar to a jeep and then you need to use the car ferry from St. Thomas and back.)

The host David was incredibly responsive, keeping us in the loop on a power outage and timing regarding it coming back on. The home was absolutely beautiful and the views were breathtaking. This was the perfect space for our book club trip, and we were so impressed.

Gorgeous home with amazing views from your private pool or anywhere in the house. The host makes sure you have beach chairs, floats, you name it. Flowering shrubs amazing. 3 full baths with outdoor showers. Only negative was the road to the Villa. Thankfully we had a 4x4 Jeep. Rough road for approximately 1/3 of a mile. Key if you arrive at night. Enough saidBeautiful Villa Congrats to the Host for doing a great job to make renters HAPPY!! We will be back Thank You

The house worked perfect for our family. A little off the beaten path, which we like. Peace and quiet and beautiful views that go on forever. Nicely stocked with everything you need and a great pool to cool off in. Great beach nearby, but an easy drive to some of the busier beach areas too. Host was quick to answer questions and very helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Incredibly well stocked! Check in was a breeze, communication was great! Every view was just stunning, photos don’t begin to do it justice! Snorkeled to our heart’s content all over the island! Start early, catch the sunrise around 6am and be back at the house by 6:30pm when the sun is going down. Stargaze by the pool or in the pool!Be ready to spot all the wildlife of this incredible island, donkeys, deer, mongoose, turtles, stingrays, octopus, lobsters, conch, eels, so many beautiful fish, and the best coral reefs we’ve seen!

Amazing stay!

We loved the location of this home, its beautiful views, and the incredible pool. We had not previously spent much time in Coral Bay but we fell in love with the area and will stay here next time. The kitchen had everything we needed, the rooms were just beautiful, and the view is amazing. Dave, the property manager, was available for issues and rectified the small issues immediately. Thank you for an incredible trip!

Great Place. Amazing View

This was a truly unique property. My wife and I and our three kids in their 20s stayed there. The location was peaceful and private. We woke up each morning to breathtaking views and the sounds and sights of nature. We had a great time and highly recommend this property.

A perfect family vacation.

Everything was great! We loved the quieter location and proximity to less visited beaches. The house is nice with space for our family. The tv area could use more comfortable furniture for nights when we all wanted to hangout together. The outside areas are lovely but could use some updates. We truly enjoyed the house, location and stay.

Spectacular Sunrise

Caribe Breeze is an amazing villa perfect for a family or two. The views are fantastic and the sunrises worth getting up every morning for. The pool is a lovely addition although this trip was quite windy make it a little cool in the evenings to swim. The kitchen had everything needed to cook a meal in and the entire house was well appointed. Would return again!

The location of the property is very close to Salt Pond Beach, our favorite beach. Additionally, the home itself is very private with beautiful views. Everything was clean and welcoming upon arrival. The property manager was super responsive and helpful. We would highly recommend this home.

Exactly as described, the view was amazing. The location is very private and we really enjoyed the pool. The driveway to the house is rugged and google maps finally adjusted our travel time to get to our destinations allowing 10 minutes to slowly navigate the driveway. St. John's was an amazing island, wonderful people, snorkeling and lots of live music in Coral Bay.

Quiet Escape But Dated

The location was OKAY, far south eastern side of the island which has more rocky beaches and is more secluded and quiet. They're only about three restaurants that were a drive away and a couple of small and expensive grocery stores. The house itself was a bit more outdated than we had thought. We also had a few issues like the screens that were broken by a previous guest and the front door lock wouldn't work a couple of times so we couldn't get in and out very easily which was a major inconvenience but these were addressed within a day or two by the owner and property manager. The pool w clean but the deck was definitely in need of work and a bit hazardous. All the showers are outdoor which at first was a little weird but they actually were very pleasant and there was plenty of hot water but it does run out. The fan in the master bedroom did not work. Air conditioning works in the bedrooms as stated in the listing. It was incredibly windy up on the "hill" which kept the mosquitoes away but could be chilly at times. Overall it was interesting. Definitely need a 4x4 to get to the house because of the rough dirt roads. Having a large washer and dryer was great for Beach days. Lots of beach equipment and plenty of towels. Bring your own toiletries cuz what was provided was generic and gave my sensitive skin hives. Outdoor grill is great it was easy to use and already set up. Kitchen does not have a dishwasher. Furniture could use an update. Overall was fair.

Wonderful Stay

Great stay. The house was very well furnished. We cooked in most nights and the kitchen was great. Dawn coffee watching the cruise ships traverse Drakes Channel. Donkey visits during happy hour. Highly recommend a stay.

Disappointed

Let’s start with verbal directions. She gave us wrong route numbers, insisting they were correct. It took us approximately 2 hours to find our destination. Later that night we found written directions on her refrigerator that were correct, but obviously she did not read them to us. She was clearly upset that it took us so long to arrive. The next day we had problems with the power. She told us we were using too much power and make sure we turned off everything when left. The solar company representative came out and told us we weren’t doing anything wrong and it ended up being a bad breaker they replaced. There is so much more to this story. If you want to know more please contact me. Wednesday we went to turn on the ac in our bedroom and it didn’t work. We didn’t get a new one until the day before we left. That is 7 days without an ac. The sheets in both rooms were stained. Our bedspread was dirty looking. The wash cloths were obviously very old. I took pictures of the stains on the sheets.

Nice property.

The property met our expectations - quiet, peaceful, private. The owner was very nice and helpful. The property is a little difficult to find and a 4x4 with good ground clearance is recommended the long unpaved driveway.

A week in St. John

The property was just as described and fit us perfectly. My parents stayed in the queen unit and worked great with us in the main house. The views and swing on the deck are AMAZING. Watched a sunrise every morning during my workout. The pool was used every day after a morning at the beaches. Just FYI, this is St. John and a very remote area you will have quirky things happen along with things out of your control EX. a cement truck on the road up to the home and random power outages. This is nothing that the owner can control you are on vacation in a beautiful place.....just go with it!!! You WILL need a vehicle that is either AWD or 4WD with good ground clearance especially for the first curve, take it slow swing wide and you'll b e fine!! The view from the top is worth it! Kris was a great host and was always a text away. We would come back in a heartbeat!!

Doesn't get much better than this!

Our family of 5 enjoyed this stay at every turn. Access to Salt Pond Beach was next door. Miss Lucy's is next door. The neighbors are close but never felt our privacy impeded on. Stay in, go out, it really makes it a tough choice. This is just a spectacular place to call home for a vacation. 6 stars out of 5!
