On Little St. Germain Lake, fishing for the mighty musky is a challenge to the best of the fishermen. Once you tie into one you are hooked for good. The lake also abounds with walleye, small and largemouth bass, northern, bluegill, crappies, and perch.

All accommodations have everything you need at your fingertips, right down to the cookware and dishes. Barbecue on the deck and enjoy the beauty of the lake and surrounding scenery. Wi-Fi access.

Not like thrift store dollar store & hand me down bare basics like most. Plenty of room, great deck, awesome view. The only thing is that the resort is very crowded. Houses close together & lots of them. Very narrow roads, difficult to park. We were off season, would not want to go during the summer. Property managers were great. We also rented a boat & it had issues one day. They sent someone within 15 minutes of our call, spent a few minutes trying to fix/diagnose, the person they sent decided he could not fix easily. So they brought another boat to us. Whole process was less than an hour.

Large screen sliders on deck need replacing, some kitchen wooden chairs need repair (coming apart), mold on the ceiling over shower area, vertical blinds need some replacement in living room (many are missing). I'd recommend to a friend but give them my review.

A Perfect St Germain Destination

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a great place! I stayed here with some friends on a snowmobile trip. When you walk in the door the place seems bigger than life with the vaulted ceilings. It's set up well to kick your boots off and hang up coats at the end of the day. You can make a quick dinner in the kitchen and discuss the next days plans in front of the fireplace. This place is right on the water so you get a great view of the lake. It has a large finished basement too so there's room for everyone. A large parking area has more than ample room for any size snowmobile trailer or a fishing boat if you're up in the summer. Timbers Bar and Grill is open late, on site and just a short walk away. If you're looking for a nice clean place at a great price stay at the Maple at Elbert's - Hiller Vacation Homes, you won't be disappointed!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Elbert's for several years now for our annual snowmobile trip. We like the location for what we do, it's near St. Germain Sport where we rent the sleds, and also has a grocery store and restaurants near by. The long time managers of Elbert's retired and was under new management this year. We have been custom to excellent accommodation's and service and the new management has a ways to go to get there. Still a good place to stay and we will try it again next year, just hope the new management steps up there game, or we may be looking for a new resort.
