  • Welcome to Feelin Froggy, this home’s name was coined one perfect evening while enjoying a cocktail on the porch overlooking the moonlight on the pond and listening to our little froggy friends along with the other island sounds and breeze. Just a short distance to both beach and bay this tranquil setting among the natural vegetation will have you and your family never wanting to leave. Enjoy sipping your morning coffee on the balcony while watching the passing birds: seagulls, osprey, bald eagle and blue heron to name a few. Take a step inside and fall in love with this charming St George Island cozy home as not a detail was missed with the comfort of you and your family in mind.

    With comfortable furnishings and calming color palette, relaxing is simple. Gather in the living room area to enjoy a movie or family game night, and in the chilly months feel free to make use of the electric fireplace. The fully equipped kitchen is a chef’s dream with plenty of sparkle quartz counter space for meal prep and new stainless-steel appliances making preparing the catch of the day a breeze. For your convenience there is a refrigerator and mini prep kitchen on the ground floor for grilling food prep and beverages. If it is time to eat, join together in our Lily Pad Cove area on the spacious deck shaded by palm trees and scrub oaks and dine alfresco. Soak up some Florida sun while relaxing or reading a book in our lounge chairs on the brick paver patio and if you need to cool off... jump in for a splash in our aqua salt water pool with places to sit or float. When it is time to retire after a long day of play two spacious bedrooms are provided on the main floor consisting of a King master bedroom and private en suite and a queen bedroom overlooking the pool. For the children, a bunk area off the hallway is also available. Additional space is located on the ground floor with queen bedroom, bath and living area with wonderful views of Lily Pad Cove.

    Do you love art, well Feelin’ Froggy has lots of unique one of a kind bronze, pottery, water color, acrylic and mixed media 3D art for you to admire. Since the owner is constantly creating and collecting new pieces if an art piece interest you with a tag on it, please let us know as it is for sale.

    For added fun, take on the scavenger hunt for little frogs and sea creatures scattered around the home and try to find the magic palm tree. Hint: it can only be seen at night. If you and your family are able to find them all there is a special surprise in it for you! Hopefully our home will make your island vacation one that your family will reminisce about for years to come. Thank you for choosing our home!

Perfect location for a relaxing, froggy time

Great property, perfect location, very relaxing. Just a quick walk to beach. Neighborhood was very quiet. Pool area was very relaxing as well as sitting on the front deck listening to the pond and viewing the birdlife. I’ll be back!

This house is AMAZING! The listing does not do it justice! It is located close to everything but you have so much privacy on this lot. The house is very up to date and CLEAN! We loved the pool and outside area! Definitely will be booking again!

Just right for first trip to SGI

This was a great place for us to experience SGI for the first time. This rental is very convenient to the beach, nature locations, and close enough to grocery stores and restaurants. We liked that it is somewhat secluded from typical vacation area busy-ness. We would stay here again if visiting the island.

Perfect getaway

We’ve been traveling to SGI for vacation annually for almost a decade now. This was our second year in a row staying at Feeling Froggy and we’ll definitely be returning. It’s spacious, private, close to the lighthouse and has a wonderful private pool.

Little slice of paradise!

This was our first time staying at SGI. The house was amazing! We visited the beach just a short walk away during the day and came back to the pool at night. Will defiantly come book here again!

Great week

Perfect place for my family including our 3 month old granddaughter. Owner has put a lot of thought and work into this home making it very guest friendly. The pool was used a lot and outdoor area around it is very nice. We rented a golf cart for our party of 6 and it made it real easy for two block ride to beach. Highly recommend Feelin Froggy.

Our Visit at Feelin' Froggy

We really enjoyed our visit. The only draw back was the stairs. Having to carry luggage and groceries up and down the stairs. Not an easy task for seniors. Also, didn't quite understand having to go outside to access the down stair area. The pool and pool area was very nice. We enjoyed it very much.

Fantastic! Great! Awesome!

Beautiful and comfortable home. Nicely decorated. It should be noted [ as it could be a concern for some ] the downstairs bedroom and bathroom isnt connected with internal stairs... you do have to go outside to access the downstairs. It worked out great for the adults. We gave the upstairs to our teenagers to have their space in the evenings while we hung out downstairs and played cards and board games. Its almost like an apartment with an extra refrigerator [which came in handy with all of our groceries]. The name of the house is Feelin Froggy for a reason which we heard the chaotic symphony the first night! It was so loud! You cant hear it in the house though. We truly enjoyed our time here. We have already booked for next year!

Nice and very comfortable accommodation. The only downside is we booked this house for the pool since we are not ocean swimmers. The water level in the pool was so low that it didn’t even reach the skimmer baskets. This cause an accumulation of debris to just circulate on the surface of the water. The lower pool outlets were clogged with debris. When I inquired with property management I was told the pool was serviced twice a week, the last visit being Wednesday. If they knew someone was checking in Friday, they should have the pool clean and water level adequate. Property management dismissed my concerns.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was absolutely beautiful and the pool and patio was perfect for hosting my family. I want to say this house was perfect, but the internet never worked (even after multiple calls and visits to the management company), we were not provided enough towels (we had less guests than it could accommodate), there was one small container of dish soap in one kitchen, but not the other, there was a very small amount of utensils and other necessary kitchen items. It was just strange to have such a luxurious accommodation, but minimal necessary household items on hand. I would recommend the property, but I would warn that the kitchen is not well stocked.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I have been going to St. George every summer for the last 8 years and have had amazing experiences with renting vacation homes, but this time was different. During our one week stay, we found that the downstairs TV would not work, the dryer would not dry, a water main busted and we saw numerous cockroaches. Even more frustrating was the lack of communication with the Sun Coast office. We reported each of these concerns as we learned of them, but communication back from the office was lacking. The water main repair did happen quickly, but the dryer was not fixed until the day before we left and we had to drive to the office to ask for additional towels. While I completely understand that things break, I do understand the lack of communication or willingness to reach out to see if there were things that could be done while we waited for concerns to be addressed. Given my experience I do not plan to rent from Sun Coast in the future.
