Sunrise Palms at Las Palmas
Sunrise Palms is where fun, relaxation, and comfort collide. Located in St. George, within the Las Palmas Complex, Sunrise Palms is in the center of it all! Explore Downtown St. George, hike through the nearby National and State Parks, practice your putt on one of the nearby golf courses, or hang out poolside! Las Palmas offers many amenities such as, shuffleboard, an outdoor pool, splash pad, tennis courts, and much more. Whether you venture out or never leave the resort, everyone will have an enjoyable time at Sunrise Palms!

Sunrise Palms is a 2 bedroom / 1 bath condo that comfortably accommodates 4 guests; however, it can accommodate up to 6 guests with the assistance of a queen air mattress. Wake up early feeling refreshed from spending the night on brand new 5-star mattresses! Mornings will quickly become your favorite time of day, as you sip a hot cup of coffee and watch the desert sun rise up over the mountains on the balcony. After a quiet morning alone, head out on a quick adventure! Multiple National and State parks are a short drive away, or Downtown St. George is always a great place to shop and have lunch. Come back to Sunrise Palms and lounge poolside under the palms at one of the outdoor pools. The kids will love being able to swim, splash around in the splash pad, and play many outdoor games offered by Las Palmas; you might not get them to come back inside! Wrap up the day barbequing on the back patio, enjoying each other's company, and watching the sun set over town. After a long day in the sun, make a bowl of popcorn and settle in for good movie in the living room; with a Smart TV and DVD player, finding a movie everyone can agree on has never been easier. By the time you leave Sunrise Palms you will feel rejuvenated and refreshed!

Nice amenities

Starting with the positive: the location was great, amenities were fun (but outdated), and the floors were clean. The bed was super comfortable. Negatives: the entire place is dying for an update. The places smells bad! The couch is stiff and awful, the places has RV lights and in the corner of the room, not all the burners work on the stove. And the tub has mold, shower curtain smells like mildew.

My family of 4 stayed in this residence for 3 nights during our first time to Utah. The resort is amazing and check in was smooth. The furniture and interior of the condo was dated. Also had a strange smell to the place. Overall we enjoyed our stay regardless.

A fly in the ointment

We had a wonderful stay. The only issue we had was the poor communication from the property owner regarding the power outage. They ghosted us. We reached out to find how best to proceed and they didn’t respond. The power was out for over an hour in an evening. The next morning, we were sent instructions verifying how to check out but no acknowledgement of the power outage the night before. When asked about it, they were kind of flippant. The person responding acted like it was no big deal. That lack of concern regarding communication was the only issue. Thank you.

- Was told before checkin there was a gas grille outside. There was not one, The owner did purchase one for our use. Appreciated that! - Property was not clean inside when we checked in. Had it cleaned…I think we paid for the cleaning which was not appropriate. - The unit is in dire need of an upgrade.

Exactly as advertised

There were no surprises with this unit. It was dated but that was to be expected. It served our family of four well for the few days we were there but if we needed to stay longer we would choose a larger place. Communication was excellent and the location was gorgeous. Kids had a blast at all the pools and water slides. Great place for families to escape to for a long weekend.

The condo community is nice with its indoor and outdoor pool and other community amenities. Spent half the trip indoors because of the weather. The condo itself is in desperate need for updates especially to the bathroom. Ants were our friendly guests in there. No Pool towels. Condo gets the job done at the bare minimum.

Very comfortable Well stocked with linens and accessory items. I discovered the washer/dryer during my third week of the stay. It was never mentioned in any of the pre/checkin/in-house material. It would have been very nice to know it was tucked in the outside closet.

Good place for a weekend getaway in St. George

It was a nice place to stay. A little out dated and could use some updating and fixes. It was a bit cramped for our family of 6. It advertises that it sleeps 6 but the beds are small and the blow up mattress only sleeps one and kept deflating in the night. One of the kids slept on the couch which worked but we wouldn't have been too comfortable for a longer stay. The complex is nice and the pools were a hit with the kids. All in all it was a good place to stay.

St George escape

We came to leave snow behind and have my husband able to walk without snow post back surgery. The area was perfect for this. Our view of the cliffs was enjoyable. The condo could use updating, but it served us well. We would use this site again.
