"Lovely welcome from June. Our top floor bedrooms were bright and comfortable with a pretty view. The ensuite bathrooms were small but clean. We enjoyed the breakfast and appreciated the kind and friendly attitude with regards to our todddler."

The owners are wonderful people who prepared a 5-star breakfast for our family and complemented it with friendly conversation. Overall, it's a great place for people who want to escape soulless hotel chains and create sweet memories."

"Great town to base yourself we stayed there for 8 years so we know this . The guest house is beautiful back from the road so very peaceful. The hosts are so lovely and welcoming. The room we had was a small double and it was immaculate,clean and had everything you need . Breakfast was excellent and there was plenty to eat . You won’t be disappointed "

"Nothing was unique. It was very dirty (carpet, curtains, window, outdoor planters, hair in the floor of the bathroom and shower, insects on the walls, floor and bed. When I saw the bottle of the shampoo empty, I asked them and they told me tu buy one in the nearest shop. Tables of the dinning room were sticky. We will NEVER be back at this hotel. DO NOT RESERVE, DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL, EVER. IF YO DO IT, YOU WILL REGRET"

"The Crags Hotel is conveniently located on the main street of Callander, making it easily accessible from the bus stop and surrounded by many activities. It was the cheapest option we found, as our goal was hiking, and we just needed a place to sleep. However, several issues made our stay mediocre to poor. Firstly, we booked through Expedia, but upon arrival, they didn’t have our reservation or any record of it. Two staff members, one at the bar and a waitress, couldn’t handle the situation and...

"This place was amazing. A cute little cottage tucked away privately. Received a lot of snow our first night and decided to walk down to the little in at the bottom of the Mountain for breakfast which was amazing. The hot tub and fire place were great. The host met us when we arrived. Directions were great but we weren’t sure we were in the right spot. "
