- Anyone craving a coastal escape, look no further than this charming cottage nestled in St Bees. Home to gloriously golden sands and the famous Wainwright Coast to Coast Walk, this area is ideal for an adventurous getaway with family and friends. Home to a long sandy beach overlooked by the sandstone cliffs of St Bees Head, the idyllic seaside village of St Bees is a haven for keen outdoors explorers and wildlife enthusiasts alike; the RSPB bird reserve with one of the largest colonies of seabirds on the west coast can be reached within 4.5 miles. Keen walkers can join the wonderful promenade along St Bees Beach, half a mile away, to begin Wainwright’s Coast to Coast Walk, and be rewarded with some magnificent views. Known for its dramatic landscapes, mountains and winding lakes, the wonderfully scenic Lake District National Park can be reached within 11.5 miles.
Hang up your coat and kick off your shoes in the spacious entrance hallway before retiring to the cosy lounge, which boasts a soothing, neutral colour palette that sets a wonderfully homely ambience.
