"The hotel is older but the rooms are clean and spacious. The pool area is nice, beautiful plants all over the hotel. Breakfast is ok, no hot food other than make your own waffles and toast. Lots of yogurt, cereal and boiled eggs."

Stay here if you enjoy: hauling your luggage up the stairs because there’s no elevator, competing for parking and wondering if your car will survive the night, and sleeping beside what sounded like a Harley-Davidson idling in your room because the AC/fan and fridge were unbelievably loud. "The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I had appointments at St Boniface hospital and it is walking distance to that. I was disappointed that there wasn't a microwave in the room. I had leftover from my lunch meal and I had to take it down to he front desk for them to heat. When I asked the girl why there wasn't a microwave she said that they offer 2 restaurants so she didn't see the need for microwaves. "We love this hotel! It feels smaller and very service oriented. The staff were amazing! The Gold service was absolutely excellent with a wonderful breakfast each day and friendly and professional Concierge. The location of the Fairmont Winnipeg is also perfect for all sorts of walking or exploring cafes, bars and restaurants in the Exchange District. Love it!"

"The hotel is a bit outdated but clean. Plumbing definitely needs some upgrades because even flashing couple pieces of paper takes several flashes. Breakfast is fine but even if the start time says 6am, keep in mind that full selection won’t be there until at least 6:30am. At 6am they just start slowly putting everything out."
