"Location was perfect. Room was clean. Bed was super comfortable! Staff was very helpful. Wish there was a real closet in the room and there was more drawer storage. Also, the bathroom had no place to put make up and toiletries.wish there was more storage there."

"The entire hotel decorating is warm, cozy and beautiful. We enjoyed the breakfast and the lounge room with fireplace. I enjoyed reading one of the books in the lounge while I drank coffee and ate a warm biscuit. Maggie was an outstanding hostess. It felt more like a high end bed and breakfast than a hotel. It was a memorable stay. We took photographs of the decorating because we wanted to remember some of the layers of color and texture."

"Very nice hotel with modern rooms and amenities. Plus decent cooked breakfast. It’s located not far from Harvard. The reception is located one floor up. The only tricky part is parking so that you can check in and get your room key. The room key then opens access to the adjacent parking garage. It’s a bit frustrating to do after a long drive to get there."

"Enjoyed the hot breakfast every morning! It was essentially eggs, a breakfast meat and potatoes/pancakes, with a variety of other options, which was more than I was expecting. Room is fine. They were undergoing renovations and we got a non-renovated one which was definitely dated but had the essential and was comfortable enough. We were awoken the first morning by a jackhammer across the street directly in front of our window at 7:33am which was not great. But overall, stay was fine....

"It was quaint and comfortably within expectations for a bed and breakfast in a former residential structure. The complimentary breakfast was a pleasant, surprising blend of availability and regional approach to those offerings. We'd stay there again."

"This is nice if expensive boutique hotel minutes from Harvard Square with underground parking. Our room was comfortable and luxurious. There is free excellent pod coffee (not Keurig) in the lobby and they will valet your car in and out of the garage which is a good idea given then narrow spiral driveway. The location is 5 minutes from Harvard Yard and close to many restaurants. Great for a Harvard reunion."

"The front desk clerk was the only good part of my experience. The hotel is not as pictured. One building includes updated rooms (54) and one building is dilapidated (52). I opened the door to my room to find it filthy. The room had clearly not been swept or vacuumed in some time, let alone between guests. There was used body jewelry found on the floor. The bathroom sink did not drain. The room provided was not suitable for occupancy. Avoid this property. The management is not helpful and is...
