Conveniently located at the gateway to the National Sequoia Forest, this cottage offers walking distance to Downtown Restaurants and Shops. A short drive will lead you many places/activities such as Lake Success, Hiking, Natural Pools, Coffee Camp, River Island Country Club and Much More. The Sequoia Blue Cottage offers fast WI-FI, Smart TV, a Cozy fire place and an awesome front porch to enjoy your morning coffee and/or your evening night cab!!!
The space
Recently remodeled our Cottage features 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, we wanted to keep it as original as we could.
A cozy porch where you can enjoy a morning coffee or your night cab!
Here are some features you may enjoy!
Living room:
- Fast Wi-Fi
- Smart television streaming with access to Cable, Netflix and YouTube.
- Living Room couch has a pullout bed under it for additional sleeping arrangements. Extra pillows and sheets will be found in the bedroom closets.
Dining Room:
- Small kitchen appliances including a toaster, full refrigerator, Keurig, and microwave.
Kitchen:
-All of the cooking utensils you would need to cook up some delicious meals and dinnerware to serve it.
-A brand new gas stove.
-A cozy space with comfortabl furniture where you can unwind enjoy a glass of wine with a good book or just Relax!
Bathroom:
Extra towels, hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner, and other toiletries that you may have forgotten along the way.
Bedrooms:
Closets to hang clothing, extra blankets and pillows, and an iron.
Fulton in master bedroom also turns into a bed for additional sleeping arrangements.
Guest access
Entire place is private to guest.

I wanted to give it a 5 Star, but...
1. There were no trash bags in the bathroom trash cans. That's just gross. When you're putting Q tips, toilet paper from blowing your nose, feminine products, and other things in there, there should be bags to easily dump . 2. There were not enough towels so we had to share. 3. Not enough Toilet paper for the whole week. IS that standard for rentals? 4. The bath rugs looked really dirty, and when we got there, they had dead pincher bugs on them upon arrival. 5. There was absolutely NO internet the entire week. This was the most frustrating part. We have kids, there was down time, and we couldn't just sit and watch a movie together when the younger kids went to bed. My brother in law couldn't work on his computer because of this. This should have been remedied at some point, but never was, even after contacting the owner. He said that there was an outage all over Springville, but that wasn't true because my brother didn't have any issues, and one of the neighbors didn't have issues. We asked for some money back as this was mentioned in the advertisement that the internet would be provided; he initially said he would, but never followed through. 6. The dog barking in the back was obnoxious. I know the owner has no control over this, but it was annoying. 7. Dustpan to broom didn't work. hard to sweep things up. Some of these things are really nitpicky, I recognize that, but when you're in a "home away from home," you want things to be convenient and work as they should.

Close to everything
Awesome quiet place with modern amenities. Walking distance to the cafes and store. Right down the road from the ranch (wedding). Was the ideal stay, would recommend!

So much wrong
- you will not have a 5-Star stay no matter what the host says. - cockroaches in living room and kitchen floors/drawers - strong odor of probably insect spraying - carpet stains, bedding stains, a beeping smoke alarm - no dishwasher in a so called remodeled kitchen/house - kitchen and bath carpet mats are old, dirty and fraying - broken furniture; couch in Living room is unusable - floors that "boom" when you walk across them due to loose floorboard - floors are uneven; you are rarely on a flat surface in any room. - bath towel racks are hanging loose, toilet is loose - the front porch deck is plywood and it is need of a huge refurbishing. - Cell service is a challenge or non-exsistant given this properties location. I have saved pictures for all of this. The biggest disappointment was the fact the the host couldn't care less. The cleaning fee is useless. On a positive note, the house is spacious and bedrooms accommodating. AC is surprisingly good. No usable back or side yard though. Home is on a busy road.

Extremely unsanitary and unsafe
Rented this place for my wedding have 3 boys who couldn’t stay because it was unsafe not only was there cockroach’s on the kitchen counter and one of the rooms but the worst part is the first night we found and scorpion in our sheets so we had to leave called multiple times on manager number no answer. We had to send our boys to go stay with family because it wasn’t safe or sanitary. Worst place I’ve ever stayed at but I did leave the scorpion on the kitchen counter for the owners to see I wish I could upload the pictures of this place.

Such a good stay!
This house was so clean and comfortable! I am so happy that we stayed here! The beds were clean and comfortable, the house was clean and smelt brand new inside, we had no issues with anything! It was so relaxing. Thank you so much for the great stay we really enjoyed ourselves

NOT CLEAN
We booked this property because we were attending a wedding 2 miles away. When the storms hit, the wedding venue was under water along with much of Springville. Roads washed out, bridge collapsed, mudslides. Unfortunately, all of this happened after the time allowed to get a refund. As our granddaughter scrambled to find another wedding venue, we tried to see if Hal would be kind enough to help us out. The new wedding venue chosen was now 40 miles away with another storm on the horizon. No dice. Hal didn't care. All he cared about was his money. He knew that nobody else was going to book his property with the flooding and the weather situation. All he cared about was the cash in his pocket. So, as we couldn't afford to pay for a second place closer to the venue, we had to make the best of it. When we arrived at the cottage, we were greeted by a chirping fire alarm due to low battery. We had to climb up and disconnect it (which was not hard as it was dangling from the ceiling by the wiring.) The floors were dirty. The bath mats in the front bathroom were gross! The couch was unusable as a bed. The pull-out portion was broken and the cushions were not comfortable at all. In addition, the pots and dishes in the cupboards were not usable without washing them first. Moving on, at bedtime we pulled out the trundle bed to find a dirty sheet! Contacted Hal the next day and he did, at least, advise us how to open the supply cabinet for a clean one. The electrical system connected to the fan lights is messed up in the two front bedrooms. When someone turns the fan or light on or off in one bedroom, it does the same thing in the other bedroom. Disconcerting to have your bedroom light or fan come on unexpectedly in the middle of the night!! We thought at first maybe one of the ghosts from the "haunted" old sanitarium across the street came to visit till we figured out the problem. A few of the electrical outlets don't work and the one to the left of the stove isn't really an outlet...just an outlet cover on the wall! Weird!! There is a woodpecker that lives in the walls/ceiling of the laundry room that makes quite a racket sometimes. The cell service is spotty but the internet connection helped. All in all, me made it work but Hal didn't make it easy and he needs to take some of that money and fix a few things, solve a few problems

It had everything I needed…only issue is I like hot showers and it never reach the temperature I desired …with that said , the warm showers did its job ….
