    You can find the best of the Vermont experience within a half-hour radius. In winter, ski Okemo (19 miles away)…enjoy a sleigh ride from Kedron Valley Stables…go ice skating or cross-country skiing in Woodstock…snow shoe around the 16-acre property.

    In summer, hike or drive up Mt. Ascutney…pick your own fruit at Wellwood Orchards…enjoy a carriage ride from Kedron Valley Stables…catch a show at the Weston Playhouse … tour the Path of Life Garden. Or travel a little further afield to the adventure parks at Bromley Mountain, the Ben & Jerry’s factory, Hanover, or Burlington.

Our family had a wonderful time staying at this house. It's super clean, not too far from Okemo (30 min) and about an hour drive to Mt snow. Basement had a mini pool and a Foosball table that kids enjoyed. Beds were super comfortable and kitchen was well stocked.

Good value, gorgeous view

The house has great architectural charm, and has wonderful views and cozy seating to enjoy them from. It was adequately stocked, and there were no issues at all with the stay. It was a little farther than advertised from Okemo, which was a little disappointing, and there were a few electrical idiosyncrasies, but a very good value, and overall we really enjoyed our stay :)
