"Bed was OK, but the space in the room is insufficient"

"We had a wonderful stay at Pines Motel in Cottage #6. It was exactly what we were looking for and made a great home base for exploring PEI. The location was perfect, with easy access to everywhere we wanted to visit, and the beautiful view and quiet surroundings made it even more enjoyable. The cottages are a little dated, but that's part of their charm. They have that classic cottage feel that we really appreciated. "This is a case of you get what you pay for. It was okay. I didn't realize that most of not of all of the rooms are in what I would call barracks across the road from the hotel. This wasn't really disclosed on Expedia. If it was I obviously didn't notice it. The biggest surprise was that the " restaurant and pub " isn't open past 230 in the afternoon. How can you call it a pub in this case. Staff were great. And for the price I guess all is well. I think it is a great place for apets teams...

"Staff were super friendly and accommodated us with what ever we needed. The rooms were clean, however their a/c unit was quite loud. However outside of that the stay was great and would recommend for folks with families looking for an affordable stay on PEI."

"Room was good and had everything needed, AC worked well after figuring out how to work it. Only thing I would complain about is that the wifi connection from our room which was room 18 was next to none and pretty much weren’t able to use it because the signal was so bad. Had to use data the whole time. I would still book and stay again in the future though"
