"It was a surprise trip for hubby. As we pulled up to the gates, he let out a huge WOW, I did too. The lady that greeted us and showed us around was lovely. Our room, the Nest, was beautiful as was the rest of the castle. We enjoyed a fabulous breakfast and met other members of staff, they were lovely. It was like being in a fairy tale. "We booked for B&B and paid in advance for it. However on arrival we were told breakfast was not included. A little annoyed, but did not dwell on it, the staff were very friendly and told us to make contact with Hotel.com. ( not so easy) Hotel was clean, nice room and a good shower. Lovely bar area. Good location for touring the area. Breakfast was cooked very nice, albeit different to what we would normally expect. Served like a restaurant, had to pay for each item. "An excellent hideaway place as advertised, also has a cottage for hire or glamping with a local well stocked shop. Ideal location for all the beaches and attractions. The morning breakfast was superb, a mix of cereals, fruit, continental style, as well as the full welsh cooked. The room was everyone you could as for, cosy, relaxing with a lovely en-suite. I would highly recommend this hotel, though I do want to revisit, so ignore this report. Seriously a wonderful stay, and will be back. "
