This lake home is the perfect spot for your getaway to Okoboji. Located in the peaceful area that is Monarch Cove. The property is just steps away from the nearest dock (first row back from West Lake). Guests of Monarch Cove are offered a large playground, private swimming area, as well as multiple docks perfect for swimming and fishing.

Spend your time out enjoying the beauty of Okoboji and rest assured that you will come home to comfort each night. This comfy cabin offers sleeping for up to 6 guests- with a fun loft area. Laundry and dryer available for use. Kitchen fully equipped to make all your favorite summer foods.

Great little cottage!

We needed a place to sleep close to my brothers lake house. We love Monarch Cove. It’s such a family oriented area. The cottage was clean and very quaint. There’s a house being built in front of the cottage so there is a truck and porta potty really close but it didn’t affect us.

Quiet Bachelorette Weekend

This property was perfect for a quiet, small bachelorette weekend for my friends and I. The area is quiet, and the short walk to the beach was perfect. Our hosts were very communicative and welcoming, and the cabin was well managed and clean.

Adorable cabin!

This spot was perfect for our family of four and easily could have accommodated at least two more. Very nice and open with plenty of room for everyone. It was located in a great location with access to everything we needed within 5 -10 minutes. It was clean and had the basics well stocked (TP, shampoo, body wash, towels, dishes, cookware etc). There is no dishwasher, which was not a big deal for us at all. A home is being built right behind this cabin, so there were workers and equipment right by the unit, but it was not too much of a bother - especially because we were in and out so much during our stay. The owners are very friendly and want your stay to be the best and it shows.

Cute and Convenient Loft Cottage

Everything with this reservation and rental went smoothly. Cabin was all ready, clean and smelled great. Towels were clean and fresh. Commination was excellent.

Weekend stay

Quiet, very secluded location. Good water view. No direct water access. Close "beach area" which is definitely not a beach but a dock with access to swim in water. No direct access for fishing.

Perfect place to stay

This was our first time visiting Okoboji and we could not have picked a better location for our first visit. The community was beautiful and everyone was beyond nice and helpful. The location was perfect for us because there was not a ton of boat traffic in that area. The dock to put the jet ski in the water was just across the cove from us. The two places to swim that where close to us were both very nice. The community has a private swimming area and there is a public beach within a mile that was very nice. The house itself was very clean and had most everything we needed for our stay. The hosts were very helpful when we had questions. We would highly recommend this place to stay and will be visiting ourselves again.

Great stay for a weekend away

We wanted a weekend away and this little home was perfect. The location was excellent with quick access to almost everything we wanted and needed. The home was clean and the owner was easy to communicate with. The neighborhood was also nice with easy access to the water and trails. It appears they are building a bone right behind this one which is only sad because it has a lovely view. It was a great size for my husband, 5 year old son and I, but could easily sleep more. I would gladly stay here again.
