Beautiful silence

This stay was fantastic! We greatly enjoyed the location up on a hill with a great view and still close to shopping and entertainment. Host was great with staying in contact with me making sure we arrived safely.

Mommas 75th Birthday

What an amazing week we had celebrating my mommas 75th Birthday! The pool, hot tub, game room and property itself was amazing. No complaints at all! The only suggestion I have is for there to be those stand up fans in each bedroom especially the bunk room. It is hot on that bottom bunk. We will be back!!

Fantastic getaway in beautiful countryside.

The experience in this beautiful property was beyond our expectations. The communication and attention that we received was very professional and caring. The property is located in a gorgeous hill side outside of Austin, it has great views and more than anything the tranquility that you experience is very relaxing. The dwelling is kept up in very good shape, the interior decor is very clean and the rooms are very spacious, fresh and with great amount of daylight. The outdoor areas are very fun, swimming pool, game room and space to do activities. Our family needing a time away from the city, received the best possible relaxing and fun experience. We appreciate this beautiful property, big Texas welcoming and making our getaway priceless. I also really appreciate welcoming our dog, that was very important for us!!! Kudos on this beautiful piece of land!!!!!

Great private fun place!

This renovated barn with separate building game room was fantastic. It is secluded but minutes away from Lake Travis and Marble Falls. The kids had a great time playing in the pool and with the air hockey and pool table. We had a great time!

Spicewood Vacation Rental

Enjoyed our stay, it's a barndominium, barn converted into a house but very nice & clean. We had fun swimming in the pool & playing games in the game room. Thanks for allowing us to stay.

Had an incredible time

We had suck a great time staying here. The game room and pool were awesome. Comfortable beds and hosts were really nice. I would say that the home seemed slightly neglected. A good clean and some attention to small details would’ve made it even better. I asked in advance if the kitchen was stocked for lots of cooking since it is secluded and they said yes. I would have to disagree with this. I had to have friends bring extra pans and cooking utensils, etc with them. And they didn’t have much at all in the way of spices. Which is fine but knowing in advance would’ve been helpful. They were great communicators and overall was a great stay. Will prob stay again.

Great Hill Country Getaway

Really clean, cool, comfortable house with great outdoor area and lots of space to relax and spread out. The pool area was awesome with great views. You could hear the road noise since it is right off Hwy 71, but you could not see the road so it still felt secluded. The kids were able to explore on nature walks. The location was perfect, as we were close enough to make trips to Austin for dinner, Johnston City for antique shopping and Fredericksburg. We had a couple of small issues throughout our stay that were quickly resolved. Owners are extremely responsive! I would definitely recommend this place for families or groups.

So much fun!

My friends group was bummed when our favorite music festival was suddenly cancelled due to rain. But as soon as we all arrived at our getaway rented home in Hill Country, we were elated again. Not only did the property match the description and photos, but it exceeded our expectations! The place was clean, neat, and well-kept. And to make matters even better, any issues we had with changing the reservation and troubleshooting the hot tub were met with immediate and helpful responses from the owner and property manager. I can't recommend this place enough if you're looking for a relaxing, quiet time with friends and family!

Nice secluded property

The home is secluded away from neighbors, which we appreciated since we like to listen to music in the evenings on the patio. The pool was a great plus! Owner provided great accommodations and responded quickly.

So Peaceful

My kiddos and I just needed to get away for some quality time after a long, tough year, (and some r&r and fun) and this home was perfect. I know when my teenagers are comfortable and make themselves at home, we are in a great place. The property manager was wonderful and made sure everything was ready for our arrival and checked to make sure things were going well during our stay. Wish we could have stayed longer - it was just what we needed!
