Portsmouth Weekend
Had a great weekend stay at Rugby Heights. The property is ideally located near Fratton rail station and its an easy walk from the house into Portsmouth city centre and to the harbour area. The house had everything we needed, the bedrooms were spacious and the beds comfy. The only recommendation we would make is that the downstairs loo would benefit form the addition of a mirror over the sink and also that a magnifying mirror should be added to either the toilet or bathroom. We would recommend Rugby Heights to anyone looking for a base for a stay in Portsmouth.

Brilliant stay and great service all around!
Enjoyed our stay with our little pooch and do recommend to anyone! The property is well decorated and cosy, everything you need and more , close by to shops and restaurants, short drive or walk to the beach and attractions. Kate has been absolutely terrific from the start and the communication has been fantastic before and during the stay! She has helped us out a lot in guiding us trough Portsmourth and finding dog friendly places. All recommendations were an absolute treat just not enough time to do them all! Thanks for a lovely stay x

Great experience really super hosts.
We had a great experience with this property and most particularly the hosts. We haven't used Vrbo before but would definitely book again after this experience. The hosts went totally out of their way to be helpful to us as we changed our dates last minute and they didn't have to let us move it but they did without any trouble at all. All the information they gave us was also super clear and helpful, from check in to parking to local amenities, it was a dream it was so easy. We liked the house and would be lovely in the summer as it had a good sized outside space and table with chairs for eating out, the house was decorated and furnished in a modern way, beds comfy and kitchen well equipped, with some complimentary tea, coffee and coffee machine complete with pods my husband loved, also they provided washing up liquid, washing pouches and dish cloths etc (so many rentals give you zero even though the last people staying must leave some of these items) so there was no need to rush out to the shops. Having said that there's lots of really good shops just round the corner (including a co-op) and the house is really well situated only a short (24 minute) walk to the beach, nice and quiet at night too. The sheets were lovely quality too and nice pillows which is so important when you are on holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely go again and in particular choose a property owned by these hosts, I cannot stress enough how lovely they were and patient as I asked a lot of questions!
