Snow's Waterfront Cottage provides the back drop for discovering your hidden talents or re-awakening your inner passions.
Watch the sun rise over the bay, walk the beach for sea glass, swim outside your bedroom and taste your home cooked lobster caught the very same day.
Or..
Venture aboard a boat, stroll the art galleries and shop at one of the fine local antique shops. Enjoy local music, vineyard wine tasting, fine dining, berry picking or fishing.

There are two bedrooms, the front bedroom has a queen bed and view of waterfront and new window. Back bedroom has two queens and plenty of closet space.

Newly updated bathroom with walk-in shower and a 16 1\2 inch toilet for all the patrons with sore knees.

Our family had a great time here and we would stay here again. Our 3 and 5 year old kids loved the beach and the yard and climbing on the rocks. The kitchen had everything we needed and the view of the water was beautiful.

Classic Maine Lovers’ Oceanside Retreat

As former “summer folk” on the peninsula, it was a treat for us to spend a week at Snow Cottage. Joined by our nephew, wife, & daughters ages 4 & 5 months, the cottage accommodated us all comfortably, & we agreed it was a charming & special spot. Ocean views from the front bedroom were breathtaking, & the spacious rear bedroom had more than ample room for a young family & all their gear. Owner Christine is friendly, available, easy tocommunicate with, & her love for the cottage is evident. We can’t wait to return!

Wonderful Cottage & Wonderful Host

The cottage is clean, bright and well appointed. The location overlooking the water is spectacular! Christine and her husband are wonderful hosts who exhibit great communication and care. The pride they have in the property really shines through. My wife and I enjoyed a quiet and relaxing week in the area. Highly recommend!

Just what we were hoping for

My husband & I stayed for a week. Owner was available & even turned some lights in for us since we were arriving after dark. The cottage was clean & comfortable. Nice updated bathroom with a very nice walk-in shower. Kitchen fully stocked. There was never anything that we needed that wasn’t there. It’s set on a beautiful & peaceful, oceanfront private drive. The view from the bed was amazing to wake up to. Location was just wanted we were hoping for as far as convenience to all that we wanted to do during our visit to Maine. We would absolutely stay here again if we could make the long trip to Maine again but agave already recommended it to friends & family looking to visit the beautiful state.

Lovely cottage and beautiful location

We really enjoyed our stay on Spruce Head Island. Chris and Tom are wonderful hosts and make a point of asking if there is anything they can do to make your stay perfect. The cottage is comfortable and has everything needed. A bonus is not having to worry about bringing linens and bath towels. We loved hearing the history of the cottage. The area is convenient for exploring all of mid-coast Maine and having McLoons Lobster a mile away is a wonderful bonus. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely consider another stay here.

When staying at a vacation home, we always hope our expectations will be met. Chris and Tom’s delightfully quirky cottage more than exceeded them. Waking to an osprey high atop a spruce and a heron on the rocks, as the tide ebbed just outside the window, was incredible. The fireplace warmed the living room on cool mornings, perfect for curling up with a good book. Both the screened in porch and indoor tables were great for eating all the local lobster clams and crab. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to work in. Oh the joy of a warm, fresh and newly decorated bathroom for an excellent shower. Throughout, the decor was imaginative, and delightful in keeping with an historical Maine cottage but with modern conveniences. We look forward to returning.

We had a wonderful stay. The view from the house is just beautiful. Easy to kayak from the shore. The kitchen was well stocked for the nights we stayed in to cook. It was just what we were looking for. Chris was a very kind and helpful host.

Relaxing stay in Maine paradise

My sister and I took our dad (who is 91) to Maine for a week because it was one of two states he still had not been to. This cottage by the ocean was the perfect spot. The views were fabulous, especially the sunrise, plus it was within driving distance to places we wanted to take day trips to. The owner was always available and so helpful! Just Perfect!

Absolutely Beautiful!

This classic Maine cottage has been lovingly maintained, is clean, uncluttered and has everything you need to be comfortable. There have been updates, such as a stunning bathroom, while still maintaining its original charm and character. There is an eclectic mix of artwork and a welcoming atmosphere that inspires a feeling of calm. There was plenty of room for our family of 4 (kids 10&13). The screened in porch was a rare find and enjoyed daily. We had a couple days of rain so the porch allowed us to still feel “outside” and be able to take in the breathtaking view while we played games, ate or read. The pebbly beach is shared with the house across the road but we had it all to ourselves. High tide was perfect for launching kayaks, taking a quick dip and walking on the big rocks. Mid-low tide was spent beach combing, exploring tide pools and reading and relaxing in a beach chair. It’s a great beach for little ones with magic and wonder all around. We saw many bird species including a bald eagle. It’s within walking distance to Lobster Lane books- a must see- and about a mile from McLoons lobster shack. I honestly can’t say enough positive things about this cottage and location. We’ve been coming to this area of Maine for 25 years and this may be our favorite rental yet. Chris was so kind and easy to communicate with. We look forward to returning next year! Thank you Chris for sharing your beautiful cottage!

Cozy and Comfortable Cottage with Beautiful Views

My family and I had a wonderful week-long stay at this property. The house itself is full of character and history. It's very comfortable with many places to sit and relax, and the kitchen was spacious and fully stocked with all cooking needs. The bathroom was newly remodeled with a fabulous rain shower. The house was great, but the views of the water were amazing! We could see the water from just about every window. My kids and I loved to beach comb and climb the rocks outside of the cottage when the tide was out. Nearby Rockland offers many cute shops and museums. My kids loved the Children's Museum especially. The location of this property is perfect for those who want privacy and quiet, but also want to have access to activities and shopping, which were all within 15 minutes away. Can't recommend enough!

Can't wait to stay again!

Our stay here was wonderful. The cottage had everything we needed, and the waterfront views were breathtaking. The host was friendly, welcoming, and she made sure we had a great stay. We didn't want to leave. Overall, an amazing coastal Maine cottage, and we can't wait to come back!

Cozy cottage by the sea - South Thomaston, Maine

My husband and I enjoyed spending our week in Maine and having the pleasure of lodging at Christine’s lovely, comfortable cottage. The cottage is right on the water. I loved waking up in the morning and enjoying watching the waves lapping, birds flying and kayakers paddling by. We also enjoyed star gazing at night in front of a fire. 20 minutes to Rockland, 20 minutes to Port Clyde, 30 minutes to Camden. Minutes to Owls Head State park and lighthouse. The house is well stocked (kitchen and bath). Christine was very hospitable and made sure we had all that we need during our stay. This was a very nice time of year to visit Maine and we look forward to the next time.

Cottage with amazing views

We loved this cozy cottage. The views of the ocean are indescribable, especially during sunrise. And the home is fully stocked with anything you would need during your stay. Would definitely love to come back.

This was a great place to get away!

We lucked out with this find == right on the water but secluded. Comfortable and had all the basic needs. Just a regular, relaxing mid-coast Maine cottage - the perfect antidote to an otherwise hectic vacation. We were at the tail end of the season so not everything is open or hours are more limited, but that wasn't a major problem for us. Great communication and helpfulness. I would stay again.

Perfect spot to unwind and explore

We had a great one week stay at the cottage. Great spot to unplug. The place was very clean, kitchen well equipped with essentials. Comfy beds. Enjoyed the sunrise from the bedroom, the ospreys and herons hanging out right outside our window, and of course the views of the bay. Perfectly situated to all the attractions we were seeking to check out be it the museums in Rockland, hikes in Camden, or the ferries to Vilnahaven and Monhegan.
