Private Setting Perfect for Large Groups

Beautiful serene setting at Nickajack Lake that sits minutes from boat docks and Marion County Park. Chattanooga is a short 20 mile drive. Golf, hiking and restaurants are nearby. We are surrounded by 7 wooded acres for peace and quiet, yet close enough to town to enjoy all there is to do in the Chattanooga area. Enjoy quiet evenings on the covered porch, cookout on the spacious deck, enjoy the backyard fire pit, or play basketball in the drive. View deer as they stroll in the yard and surrounding property or catch stunning sunsets from the porch. Five private bedrooms with three full baths as well as a loft with a privacy curtain are available for private sleeping spaces. A portable crib, toddler bed and high chair are available. The home is well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay including a fully equipped kitchen, Fiber internet, and streaming TV (YouTube TV included). Two desks are available for remote work. There is plenty of parking room for multiple boats, cars or trailers . This neighborhood is quiet and secure with plenty of distance between you and the neighbors. All bedding including blankets is changed and surfaces are disinfected between guests. Hosts live nearby to ensure your needs are met. Dogs are allowed with pet fee. Sorry- no cats. Events are allowed with prior approval. A $200 event fee applies. For your convenience, you will find:

Great family gathering spot. It is away from the downtown area, but close enough to be in the downtown area easily. The home was comfortable for our group of 9. The property owner was fantastic (the owner even cam by on Thanksgiving evening to take the trash cans to the curb for pick up. Great local information provided in the notebook.

Beautiful Location and Perfect House for muli-fam

Everything was outstanding and very well equipped. The host is super nice and very responsive. Anything we needed she was on top of it. The property is absolutely amazing, and the sunsets were so beautiful. We saw deer and lots of fireflies. The firepit area was perfection and we enjoyed hanging out, making smores, and playing cornhole out in the area. Highly recommend this house. It does feel a little 90's era but we loved the coziness of it all.

Amazing

The house was wonderful! The whole family loved it. It was very clean and VERY well stocked. The grandkids loved the toys, the games and the big yard, but I think the basketball and goal were the biggest hit. Plenty of room and beds. A big part of our stay was spent with each other at the house. Thank you Michelle.

My family traveled from Virginia/Delaware to Tennessee for my sister's Celebration of Life.We had no difficulties finding this property and it was very close to my brother-in-law' church.Rooms were large and welcoming. The property was beautiful with attractive landscaping.

Okay/Fine

This property has a good bit going for it. But overall it’s dated and worn. Amenities like fire pit and large yards and decks are offset by odd floor plan and surprisingly small items—oven, dishwasher, showers—for a large house. The host communicates well and lives nearby. Apparently a new coat of paint is imminent throughout the house, so 2025 rentals will enjoy that, I suppose. Be clear about distance/travel time into Chattanooga—it’s not a quick in/out to downtown attractions. It’s in a nice setting and there are parks and activities fairly close by. All in all it’s okay/fine. We previously found a nicer, more convenient Chattanooga VRBO, so likely won’t come back to this one.

Thanksgiving gathering

We were very pleased with the house and location. On Thanksgiving we made a traditional dinner and were impressed by how well eqipped the kitchen was. Lots of room in the kitchen for cook and helpers! It was lovely to have a dining room table for the family to dine together too. The bedrooms and bathrooms were well supplied with essentials. Everything was as described by the host. Very comfortable lovely spacious home.

Couldn’t of asked for more

We needed a place to stay for a softball tournament in Chattanooga. The location of the house to the fields were all within 30 minutes. The house itself is big and spread out and a lot of property it you want to get outside. The communication with the host Michelle was unbelievably great. She’s incredibly kind and a wonderful host. If we come back to town, we’re definitely going back!

This house had everything we were looking for. Extremely close to several ramps on lake Nickajack, great parking for bass boats and plenty of rooms inside. We will stay there again, if the tournament trail hits Nickajack again.

Our weekend in the mountains

The home was very well put together and clean when we arrived. The host has a book as you enter the home that explains the rules and check out process, as well as helpful information about the house and how to use the thermostat for anyone who is less technologically inclined, and there is information about local sight seeing locations and places to eat. The communication with the host was very good and I’d absolutely book with them again
