"Strong WiFi throughout. Plenty of choice for breakfast, although the cooked food was a bit salty for our liking. Bed was firm, with a creak. Non feather bedding, so great for allergies. Bathroom door wasn't keen to stay shut. Room was clean. Great selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate as well as biscuits. Quiet location over the night. Steak and ale pie great, veg pie you needed a spoon to eat the contents with. "

"Had a wonderful stay in the refurbished hotel. Had the most comfortable nights sleep, so much so that we are looking to buy the mattresses they use. The comfy double was just what we needed. The bathroom didn't look to be refurbished but was fine as it was apart from a leaky shower hose. We were supplied with plenty of drinks to choose from and 2 packets of biscuits. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choice from the buffet table including home made granola and fresh honey dripping from the...

"we had a great stay at the Red Lion. Amazing food. Very comfortable bed and good quality linens. But I think the staff was the key to all this success they were lovely and helpful. If only one thing I would improve is the water pressure in the bathroom. There isn't any :)"

"We did an overnight stop to split a long journey. Lovely welcome from Cara. We loved the accommodation, own entrance and all we needed for our stay. Great bedding and bathroom with shower. Breakfast cooked to order and is served in room was really high quality. Such a convenient stop off just in the A30, will definitely stay again. "

"A excellent stay at Bridport , on arrival we were greeted by Emily who was friendly, helpful and efficient. Lunch and dinner were both very good, again Emily was our dinner server and made the experience very enjoyable. Our room was warm and comfortable although we found the pillows to be a bit hard , this of course is a personal thing. Breakfast was very good and the servers were again polite and helpful. Your staff are a credit to the hotel, an enjoyable stay and hopefully not our last....
