Suntide II's resort-style amenities include a shared heated pool, hot tub, sun deck with palapas, tennis court, grilling area, and beach access with volleyball and badminton nets.

Discover dining and nightlife within walking distance. There's something for everyone, from seafood and burger joints to beachfront watering holes.
The stunning view is the highlight of this beachfront condo! Step out on the living room balcony to enjoy vistas of the emerald green waters and sugar white sands at your doorstep.

When you've worked up an appetite, cook some home cooking in your fully equipped kitchen, which has well-stocked cabinetry and a breakfast bar with seating for four. Savor family meals in the dining area at a table set for six.

After dinner, gather in the living area, furnished with a leather couch, matching sleeper sofa, and a plush rocking chair. Watch your favorite shows on the flat-screen TV or catch a Gulf breeze on the balcony.

At night, retreat to your king-size primary bedroom with a walk-in closet, a 32-inch flat-screen TV with VCR and DVD players, and gorgeous Gulf views. Refresh in the private ensuite with dual sinks and a glass shower.

The second bedroom has a queen-sized and a twin-sized bed. Watch movies and shows on the 20' flat-screen TV with DVD player, and get ready for the day in the ensuite with tub/shower combination.

The property was exactly as shown in the listing. The balcony had plenty of seating and hearing the waves crash onshore was SOO relaxing after a day spent with the kids.

The exterior of the building is very worn and dated. The view and distance to the beach was fabulous. However, the master bathroom had a constant sewer smell. Also, the power was out for half a day and there was no communication from the host to give any updates.

Condo itself is great

The Condo is great! Location is fantastic. The beds were great, furniture was comfortable and not musty as you expect in a humid environment. The onsite staff you come across in your coming and going are always so nice and friendly. The young men who took my call during my pest issue were very friendly and polite. When I called back as instructed to speak to the manager, the manager didn’t identify himself until I said what the issue was and why I was calling. The only reason I am not giving it a 5 star all around was due to the little roaches in the kitchen and master bathroom and lack of communication and follow up from the manager. A pineapple was found in the bottom of the oven (food warmer) which housekeeping missed. While sure it’s fair that can be easily missed, who would put a pineapple there, had the heat of the oven caused the pineapple to emit chemicals into the condo it would have cause 2 members of our family serious allergic reactions due to their allergies to pineapples.

Loved this property! The condo was equipped with everything we needed, clean & comfortable. We said we will be booking it on our yearly trip for now on. The pool was nice, the view of the beach from the balcony was amazing and the grounds were clean. We had an amazing time and can’t wait to go back.

South Padre Week Away

Condo was well represented on line. Very clean and well appointed. Beds/mattresses were not the most comfortable and need to be replaced. The outside light at the door to the condo was not working and made it difficult to enter the door code at night. A Ceiling fan light bulb out in the queen bed room and no bedside lamp for reading, etc. One of the washing machines was not operational on the 2nd floor and one dryer missing lint screen. Really wish SPI would have Keurig coffee pots instead of the old fashioned filter/drip machines. We very much enjoyed our stay and will definitely return to this condo going forward.

Disappointed but still we were at the beach

We stayed here in 2021 and really enjoyed our time. The condo in question has not been updated. The $29 Mr. Coffee pot needs to be retired and invest in a nicer keurig or better quality coffee maker. Kitchen was sparse in cookware and utensils. There was evidence of mold in showers and peeling paint. There wasn’t any type of luxury linens or blankets and the king bed has the beginning of a sagging middle. We were very disappointed with that aspect of our stay. Service was good and of course the location is amazing. The pool was clean and great access to the beach.

Just OK, not great.

This unit needs some updating. Plywood under the couch cushions, end tables with gobs of putty holding them together. Moldy, peeling ceiling paint n the bathroom. A box of tissues and adequate toilet paper would have been nice. People smoking on balconies and poolside was annoying. The mattress was comfortable but the pillows were gross. I had to go buy one to be able to sleep.

Great location and experience

We loved our condo! It was well taken care of and a fantastic location with a view of the ocean and easy access to the beach. We decided to schedule horseback riding on the beach through Island Adventures and that was definitely a highlight. In addition, we were able to easily walk to several restaurants and shops. We'd stay here again.

I hate to write this review because it will have people reserving this space and make it more difficult for us to return. ;). This condo was just as advertised. The view as soon as you walk in the door is OUTSTANDING. It was clean and had almost everything needed for the perfect vacation (not a very big frying pan so making bacon and eggs in the am was a tad rough). There was no washer/dryer but no problem the resort laundry room was right out your front door, very convenient. We will be returning as often as we can!

SPI Beach Front Condo

Location was excellent. Host was very helpful and cordial. Condo was less than expected. Furnishings were worn and outdated. Mold in shower. Evidence of roof leaks in living room (staining). Overall it felt like a cheap hotel room.

Very clean

It was very clean and RIGHT on the beach. Need to update toilet paper to good kind that doesn’t rip easily. Also please add a cutting board. Has umbrella and chair rental for $35. Thank you for allowing us to stay. Enjoyed our holiday.

Fungus not my friend

The condo is beautifully decorated but the shower was filthy. You could see the fungus forming and the shower head was broken. The entire shower was gross. There was no hand soap to use so I went to store and bought my own. The refrigerator door handle was also coming off its hinges. I paid for quality service ! What happened?

Beautiful View

We truly enjoyed our stay at Suntide II. The area was clean. We were right on the beach and the view was amazing. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. While the building is older, they are doing doing repairs to upgrade the area. All in all, it was quiet, relaxing, and fun.
