Mini getaway

We decided to come down on a whim for the night just to get out to the beach and found this property on VRBO. The price was not bad for it being 4th of July weekend. The check in process was pretty simple. We were able to complete part of the check in paperwork online. Upon arrival to the office they validated and verified who I was gave us our parking and pool passes. The only issue we had with this part was the traffic getting to the office. When we arrived at the property it was clean and property was pretty much as described. It was a perfect size for our family of 3. The property had all the things we needed to make a quick dinner. The patio was nice to sit out at night but being a ground floor unit be prepared for the noise of the coming and goings of your fellow vacationers. The unit is closer to the pool and further away from the dumpster which was nice cause it was steamy out that day and I was very glad we didn’t have to catch the downwind from the trash. I liked the location beach access was pretty much a parking lot over and I enjoyed that there was a walkup bar, food truck and BATHROOMS off the walkway to the beach. Would definitely recommend to a couple or a smaller family. I would not mind booking here again for a future stay.

Location was fine,parking was great. Pool was ice cold and hot tub worked on and off. Poor value for the dollar, couldn't get a dehumidifier that worked properly, very wet unit on cool days. Furniture old old wicker from 1965 era and the most uncomfortable we had ever had.

We liked how quiet the condo was. Parking was right out front and the locals are kind and welcoming. We were able to walk to state park to watch the rocket launch and avoid the heavy traffic afterwards. The air conditioning and wifi worked great. The condo could use a softer mattress as the mattress was the firmest memory foam with no bounce.The kitchen was okay and easy to cook in.aTowards the end of our stay we tracked in sand and the floors became unpleasant to walk on as the is no broom with a handle provided, only a small hand broom witch is impractical to sweep a whole condo with. All in all I would stay here again but hope they add a broom with a handle and a softer mattress.

Small Cozy Condo

A broom, dustpan and a mop would’ve been useful to help clean up. I would say no more than four adults since there’s only two places to sleep a bed and a sofa bed.
