"The rooms, bath, dining area were all clean, considering it is a fairy old place, it is still in tip top condition. Everything was nice even the events that has the happy hour with free drinks in the bar and smores night. If I were to nitpick, only the entrance to the garage flooring that is not carpeted or painted would be the only "slight" negative about this place. Overall good experience for us. By the way we booked late and the lady on the counter was really helpful in fixing our booking!...

"My family loved it. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beaches, shopping, restaurants, and hiking trails. We especially enjoyed the pool, and the room was spacious and comfortable. It was great being able to relax and cook home-cooked meals after long days of exploring.
The only downside was that parking was a bit expensive, but overall it was an excellent stay, and we’d definitely come back."

"The location is perfect in Tahoe City, right across the street from The Commons. It was close to great food, drinks and bakery’s. I stayed in room 8, which was on the top floor. The room was spotless, the bedding very comfortable and of high quality. I slept really well and it was very quiet. I appreciated the shampoo, body lotion and conditioner. The thing I DIDNT LIKE was the check in process. I sent them 3 texts asking them how I check in with no response. I later found 4 emails from them...

"We had a very nice stay. The room was nice, clean and comfortable.
Plenty of parking. We came up to visit friends who live in the area.
We visited Lake Tahoe, just a half hour away, one day. And did some
local shopping and toured Genoa the following day. Before we headed
home my wife stopped in the Casino and even paid for the trip.
Thank you Carson Valley Inn, we had a wonderful time!"
