Enjoy the waves of the Atlantic and the pavilion area, walk the rocks and visit the wonderful shops and local restaurants including the Matunuck Oyster bar, Captain Jacks and Jim's Dock. House is perfect size and location. Owner v responsive and helpful. The house has lots of different spots to hang out in so you can all spread out inside. Outside same thing - lots of great seating areas. Excellent beach and restaurants are just down the street. Highly recommend.

The house was exactly as advertised. Beautifully decorated with plenty of room for our family of 4! House had everything we needed (paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo, dishwasher and laundry detergent, beach chairs and umbrellas). The location is perfect with easy access to the beach (one minute drive or 15-20 minute walk). Close to Matunuck Oyster Bar and captain Jacks). Near the road, but no issue at all with noise. Ralph was very responsive to all questions. We love the area and this is a great house to enjoy all that Matunuck has to offer! We would definitely stay here again!

Family vaca

This place is terrific clean beach towels, chairs umbrellas, walking distance to matunuck oyster bar! Close to a day trip to BI - can’t say enough we will DEFINITELY be back as we have family in the area. Perfect rental! I would say add some more hooks and shelf space in the bedrooms but other than that 10/10

Lovely updated home with everything you need.

We had a great time beaching in East Matunuck and eating at the nearby Matunuck Oyster Bar. I’d highly recommend this property. We spent a week in August and were very comfortable. Nicely updated! Great kitchen and bathrooms. Comfy beds and living room. Televisions everywhere.

Mutunuck Beach vacation

Beautiful home that was exactly as presented in owners VRBO listing. Everything you need in a home away from home! Very clean and well appointed home. Close to the beach (we drove down, only $12 to park which included beach access) and walking distance to Matunuck Oyster Bar. Location is great for those looking to explore other Rhode Island beaches or towns along the coast.

Nice reno and location

Recently renovated and quite nice. Walk to beach and Matunuck Oyster Bar. Central to Westerly and Newport. Owners were very nice and responsive. Enough yard to enjoy games and great deck for dining and cocktails. Only thing missing was beach towels.

Chic and generous interior + :10 from Potters Pond

Nice long dinner tables inside and on the deck that allowed me to serve up to 10 people. Lots of pots and pans to cook whatever: mostly spaghetti with clams and crabs. Couches to curl up with a book. Deep bathtub with chandelier! Soft lawn perfect for soccer or bocce.

Spacious, clean great location

The location is fantastic, down the street from a beautiful beach. The house has everything you need, I cooked everyday ( by choice). But there are many restaurants nearby. My son and daughter-in-law enjoyed matunuck oyster bar. My husband and I stayed on the ground floor in the master sweet and 2 adults and their 3 young children stayed upstairs. Spacious and delightful!

Beautiful, updated house in an excellent location!

Our family spent a week over the 4th of July holiday and found the house to be very clean and updated, in the perfect location for our family to spend our days at East Matunuck Beach, evenings at Matunuck Oyster Bar (walking distance!) and easy access to Pt. Judith and the Block Island ferry. We all enjoyed our stay and will be back next summer!

Clean and updated house

We loved our rental near Wakefield RI. It was close to Pt Judith for seafood and the ferry. The house was clean and updated with modern looking furniture. The kitchen was just what our family needed. Great place for 5-6 people.

Nice place, excellent location!

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at this property. The house was exactly as described, from the VBRO listing. You could tell everything, was like new. We found the neighborhood to be pretty quiet, and the location was perfect. Very close to the beach. I did drop off my family at the beach, then parked at the house, and jogged back to the beach. About .8-1.2 miles, depending on which side of the beach you go to. It was definitely walking distance to Matunick Oyster Bar, which I highly recommend for lunch or dinner. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and I felt the price was reasonable. The host was very responsive, and though we didn't have any issues, I got the impression that he would have taken care of whatever it is that came up. I would stay here again.

My family and I had a great stay.

The house was beautiful. It was all brand new very nicely remodeled and decorated. The owner was very helpful. The house had everything you needed. We enjoyed the outdoor shower after a long day at the beach. It was nice to walk to dinner at Matunuck Oyster Bar.
