Welcome to Lake Gaston! This Lake Front Home has room for the entire family with Lake Views from almost every room, 2 Kitchens, with everything you need to make your vacation truly enjoyable. Quilts, Blankets, Sheets, & Pillows are included. All beds are made prior to check-in so you can walk in, put your suit case down and RELAX!

**During the Summer Check in/Check out days are Sundays with a 7 Night minimum stay**

**MAIN LEVEL**Primary Bedroom w/Pillow Top King Bed, Sleeper sofa w/Twin bed, Smart TV, and Private Balcony to enjoy Romantic Sunsets over the water. Ensuite Spa like Master Bathroom w/dual sinks and an 8' walk-in shower w/pebble tile floor, rain head, and regular shower head.

There are 2 additional Bedrooms on the Main Floor w/Queen beds, a Full Bath, and Laundry Room w/Washer & Dryer for added convenience. Full size Crib with sheets in Bedroom #2.

The Great Room has a vaulted ceiling, plenty of seating, and a 60" Smart TV w/Sound Bar. Sliding doors lead out to an enclosed 4 Season Porch with a wall of windows overlooking the water and an outside Covered Deck with Globe String lights for night time enjoyment.

The Kitchen with granite counters, stainless appliances, Island, plenty of cabinet space includes all the cookware you'll need to create delicious meals, including seasonings, kitchen towels, soaps, saran wrap, tin foil , ziplock bags and more! Large Dining Table off the kitchen, overlooking the lake, provides seating for the crew!

**LOWER LEVEL** Entertainment for everyone with a HUGE Rec Room w/Bar, Refreshment Fridge, Pool Table, Smart Flat Screen TV w/Sound Bar. Sync your phone to the Sound Bar and play your favorite music!

There are 2 additional bedrooms, 4th Bedroom with Queen Lower Bunk, Twin Upper Bunk AND Twin Bunk w/Trundle and the 5th Bedroom with Queen Lower Bunk/Double Upper Bunk, and a Twin Bunk, and a 3rd Full Bathroom.

Bonus Game Room w/another Smart TV, Ping Pong Table, Air Hockey Table, Darts, Movies, Books & More! A 2nd Kitchen on the Lower Level makes snacking convenient with a Microwave, Refrigerator, Stove and Wine Fridge!

**OUTDOOR AREAS**
Walk out to the covered Patio with expanded seating - 2 Tables, a Gas Grill AND Charcoal Grill. (Ask About Inflatable Towables for Rent!)

The gently sloped private 1+ acre point lot has 203+ feet of waterfront leading to a Double Boat House w/a Boat Lift set up for a Pontoon (weight limit 3,000 pounds) for your use (May-September). Water depth at shore is about 2 feet with walk-in stairs for easy access for all ages! There's an Upper Deck for sunbathing & a jump gate! Great water depth at end of dock of 8-10 feet! A Wireless speaker at the dock will play music from your favorite App!

Evenings are fun with the Fire Pit on the point by the Water (wood provided while it lasts). Have Fun on the 19' X 6' ISLAND FLOATING MAT! (Memorial Day thru September) Take the Six Kayaks out for a leisurely tour of the lake and wildlife. Try your hand at Paddle Boarding with the 2 Paddle Boards available for your use. Outdoor games galore! Horse Shoes, Giant Jenga, and Corn Hole! There's something for everyone at "Floatin & Boatin", no matter what the weather!

Fishing is always good with your Bait & Tackle just a mile away at Holly Grove Marina! AND the Fishing License is included to Fish off the Dock!

Need to get your boat in the water? There's a community boat ramp! Fall & Winter be sure to bring your binoculars to watch the beautiful water birds! **Boat lift at house has weight limit of 3,000 pounds**

Wonderful property! Great dock with accessories, nice location without too much boat traffic. Well stocked game rooms for escapes from the sun. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of fridge and freezer space. We’ll be booking again!

Awesome Family Vacation!!

This place is fabulous for a large family. All 4 of my kids, their significant others and 7 grandchildren. Sleeping arrangements, the game room, the boat dock were great. The floating mat was perfect for young kids and was a daily hangout. The SUPs and Kayaks saw some use also. Nice level lot made it easy to get to and from the dock. The kitchens (2) have everything you need and it is all organized and labeled, so it is easy to find. Reclining couches and the big screen TV made quiet time with the kids (and parents) a hit. Thanks for an awesome family vacation!!

This house was the perfect spot for our annual FIT4MOM Richmond Retreat! The house was exceptional and had everything we needed and more! 2 nights just wasn’t enough!

Amazing

Pictures absolutely do not do this property justice. All the amenities that you could need in a clean spacious house. Boat dock is amazing and we all had a fantastic time out on the kayaks in the cove!

Terrific

Beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, and generously stocked. Floatin' and Boatin' is a wonderful place for making family memories. Tons to do and plenty of room to do it in. The owners are easy to contact, responsive, and proactive. The entire process from start to finish was flawless. Can't recommend it highly enough and can't wait to go back!

Another Great Stay!

We love staying here! Ample space for our group, we love the fire pit and fishing of the dock. The kitchen is well stocked, we make all our meals here and haven't found that we needed anything. Great communication with host. Looking forward to staying again!

Beautiful home and property

We have vacationed in Lake Gaston for 5 years. We absolutely love this area and the beautiful lake. However, this was our first year at ‘Floating and Boatin’, and it beyond surpassed our expectations. The home is so beautiful. The views of the lake make mornings on the porch heavenly, and the dock with its many toys impressed all of us from age 4 to age 76! I could go on forever…By far one of my favorite stays at Lake Gaston. Thank you Edie and Steve for a wonderful core memory vacation.

Weekend at the lake

Excellent!! Place worked great for our whole family. Grandkids spent a lot of time on the floating mat or the Big Bubba we rented. Having kayaks and stand up paddle boards was a treat. The house had so many things inside for entertainment as well. Edie was great at communicating and a pleasure to deal with.

Still Talking About It

Since our lake trip, everytime I speak with my kids they keep raving about our lake trip...yes, alot of it is being together but The Red Tin Roof house made it so much more...the house has ever thing we needed and more. We're all trying to figure out a date to go back! The one time I phoned the owner, she texted back almost immediately ...the only problem we all had was we ran out of time...thanks so much!

Great trip

We had an absolutely perfect stay at the lake house! Everything was exactly as described, and it comfortably accommodated all 16 of us, ranging in age from 8 to 72. The house had all the amenities we needed, and the views were stunning. Edie, the owner, was super helpful and incredibly responsive throughout our stay, making sure everything was just right. It was a wonderful time for everyone, and we can't wait to come back!

Beautiful Lake Home with Everything you Need!! So Peaceful and Relaxing!!

We had such a great week at Floatin and Boatin! The house is on a peaceful and beautiful part of the lake! We enjoyed the dock and the splash mat along with the paddle boards and kayaks! The kids enjoyed fishing and jumping off the top dock. This house has everything you could possibly want in a lake home. The kitchen was the most stocked kitchen we have ever seen at a vrbo and everything in the house is neatly labeled and organized! The beds were comfortable and the house has plenty of seating and areas to hang out! The downstairs game rooms and extra kitchen were a much added bonus and something we really enjoyed having! Edie was so responsive any time we needed anything and was quick to help with all our questions. We had such a great week and would definitely come back to this house !! Thanks again for opening up your home to us:)

Perfect Vacation

My family, ages 18-60, just spent an amazing week loving everything about this house and property! There was plenty of room for the 10 of us, not only bedrooms but the beautiful dining room table seated us all comfortably and the porch had ample chairs for us to sit around for morning coffee and evenings when we simply enjoyed being together. The house was fully equipped with every amenity we could ask for and we especially appreciated the drink cooler behind the downstairs bar. We played pool, ping pong and card games inside and spent hours outside at the dock. The location was ideal and our decision to go the week after July 4th was the best because we almost had the whole lake to ourselves. Shopping was close by and we visited the Rosemont Vineyard one afternoon. Lastly, communication with Edie was great from booking to check-in and even though we didn't need to contact her at all during our stay, she made it clear we could at any time. It's obvious she cares and wants every guest to have a wonderful stay which we sure did!

Family vacation!

Our family was very happy we chose this house and this lake! It was a beautiful setting, a wonderful house. The organization of the entire house all labeled no questions and place for everything! All our families needs were met, games, books, water sports etc.
