"We had a wonderful time at this cabin right on the banks of Lake Champlain! It's so kind of the owners to have coffee and creamer available. We enjoyed kayaking a lot. The only problem we had was we arrived at night and couldn't find the address for 156. It's not listed on a mailbox but it is on the cabin itself."

"The property I think is as described and the location by the causeway is pretty fantastic, that is the big draw. Being able to walk/ride out to the causeway is excellent. Little things though marred the experience for me. Tiny coffee machine that is a little broken (top falls off, often into cup as you pour) - very cheap and can only make 2 cups. No coffee filters provided. Toaster is tiny, cheap and a bit hard to use. There is no established path so you are just trotting about 50 yards across...

"The place is private, peaceful, clean and well maintained. Dave, the owner, even warned us of an approaching storm and advised us on how to protect screen porch furniture upholstery from getting wet, so communication was excellent, too. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves despite bad weather all week. The property is as described. The view was lovely and we appreciated how quiet the neighborhood was. We cooked most of our meals. The kitchen was well-stocked in terms of dishes, cutlery, pots & pans. The only potential issue is that the stairs to the 2nd floor bedrooms are very steep, as others have noted, and our dog wasn’t able to climb them. Other than that, the place was very comfortable and it was great to get away."

"I book a fishing trip each year for my dad, a friend of mine, and me. This year we stayed at this lovely property in Pelots bay. Interior was as advertised, clean, and had beautiful rooms. As others have mentioned, there are quite a few steep stairs down to the dock/water, so if you’ve got small kids/anyone with limited mobility, just be aware of that going in. "Upon entering the cottage, there’s a blanket in the living room that says “let’s stay here forever” and we seriously considered it! This place is well appointed, open floor plan, tastefully decorated, and was absolutely spotless when we arrived! Mike and Andrea are very attentive hosts, and have thought of everything to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The view of the lake was gorgeous. We had such an enjoyable and relaxing stay, and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!!"
