Step outside to sip your morning coffee on either the covered or open patios directly off the home. Or, if getting moving is your ideal wake-up, a 2-3 minute walk brings you to the end of the street with an inspiring panoramic view of the lake from the bluff. Descend the keyless entry private stairs or key in to one of the 4 tram elevators to descend to the shore for a mile long walk or paddle board.
Back at the home, revive in the outdoor hot tub, chaise lounges or enjoy a quiet read in the wood drenched living room with double ottomans overlooking the yard. Invite a family member for friendly competition at the game table nook. A cozy den in the cottage portion has an oversized leather couch and large Smart TV where you can access your favorite streaming services. This side of the house is home to a half bath and 2 more bedrooms, complete with original colorfully stenciled, wooden doors. Get cooking in the modern, streamlined, wide galley kitchen with gourmet chef's stove, microwave, dishwasher, various coffee making options, toaster oven, oversized fridge and farmhouse style sink. The open, outdoor patio also houses a gas grill.
The main entry hall of the house is a highlight of the new addition and provides access to a laundry room as well as the attached garage. There you'll find 4 bikes and an assortment of outdoor games. For beach-goers, there are plentiful beach towels, 4 beach chairs, an umbrella, a portable cooler, and a lightweight, inflatable paddle board with adult lifejackets.
Spend the evening making s'mores by the fire pit and taking in the postcard worthy sunsets this area is known for! Explore nearby South Haven, a quick 6 minute drive to the south, with wide, sandy, family friendly beaches and tasty restaurants. Head north 15 miles to the quaint town of Saugatuck to find shops, cafés and the area's renowned dunes for hiking or dune buggy tours. Grand Haven, a 53 minute drive north, lays claim to a 3 mile boardwalk, scenic pier and red lighthouse - plus a variety of unique shops, galleries, eateries and antique markets.
