    The Space:

    Nautical colors and floods of natural light welcome you to A Touch of Blue. Located in Chatham, this beach house is walking distance from immaculate Forrest Beach on Nantucket Sound.

    With ample seating outside, and a private plot set back from the road, this home is a nice place to relax this Cape Cod summer. A sprawling outdoor deck, with a shade umbrella and great outdoor seating, welcomes you to your vacation home. Step through the patio, with additional seating, and into A Touch of Blue.

    The open concept living room and kitchen house an exposed brick chimney and sun soaked sofas, with a dine-in island at the center of the kitchen. Head down the hallway towards the sleeping quarters of this home- two bedrooms, the primary bedroom with a queen bed, and the second bedroom with a full bed and a twin/ twin bunk bed.

    Other amenities include a washer and dryer, a secluded backyard with hammock for relaxing, an outdoor shower and central A/C. Surround yourself with the joys of Chatham at A Touch of Blue.

Cute, comfy spot; great location

My partner and I had a great stay here with our dog while on the Cape to visit family for Christmas. We loved the proximity to the beach and to the rail trail. The house was perfectly clean, very comfortable, and well equipped for cooking. Would stay here again!

Great cottage for off season trip

This cottage was exactly what we were looking for and was the perfect size for a group of 4 staying in Chatham during the offseason. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a reasonable deal on a house close to the beach in beautiful Chatham!

Cozy and comfy

It was cold and wet outside but warm and cozy inside. The house was clean and the furnishings were very Cape cod beachy. The kitchen had what we needed (a tea pot). Loved our stay!

A perfect getaway

I went with a group of friends who wanted some time away from our stressful jobs. We had a wonderful time, walking along the beach, visiting cranberry bogs, and hiking nature trails. We had so much fun that we vowed to do it every year. I’m so grateful that we had such beautiful place to rest.

Cute house

Only issue we had was the stairs. My Mom is elderly and it was difficult for her to get in. Railings recommended. Otherwise our stay was great!

Retreat to the cape

Pretty little home within walking distance of a beach. Loved the yard and porch. Sadly it rained the whole weekend and house was musty smelling right from the start. Overall it was a comfortable place. Would recommend a few things be kept (matches, coffee, teas) in kitchen for ease of use.

Great

This place is super cute and perfect for a stay in Chatham. Close for the beach. A 9 min drive to town. Check in was extremely easy. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. We did have a little technical issue with the Wi-Fi, which took a couple days to fix but the management was very receptive. The man who came to fix it was extremely helpful.

S Chatham Cottage Review

Lovely cottage, great location but the place could have been better a little better equipped and we found the appliances (washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave) difficult to use. We could really have used detailed instructions to make the appliances work, which weren't provided. We got the appliances to work only after a lot of experimentation. We had to replug the microwave in multiple times to make it work. The washer was really hard to figure out. It would be nice if cooking oil was provided. Overall, great stay and cottage.

We had a great stay. The house was very clean, easy check- in, dog friendly. Location was fantastic with a quick walk to one of chatham's beaches and a great little neighborhood. It was close to everything we wanted to do so our travel time was short for every adventure. Would definitely recommend.

The home was perfect! The location couldn’t be beat. We stayed here to be close to family and it was not your typical rental. Everything was clean and cozy. Would highly recommend, especially if being close to the beach is a necessity. Quick walk and you’re there!

Quiet Neighborhood, Walkable to Beach

Good value for the money. Only drawback, which was minor, is the dehumidifier in the living room has to run frequntly.
