Bison Hollow Hideaway is located by Queer Creek on the back side of 178 acres of Bison Hollow Nature Preserve with steep-walled black hand stone gorge with numberous picturesque rock outcrops and waterfalls. Incredible property/location to explore. Only 3 minutes from Ash Cave and many other attractions! . Features 3 private bedrooms, 2 Full Bathrooms, a very small central room with TV/DVD player, seating area, and full refrigerator with half kitchen. Enjoy and relax by the fire pit outside or warm up in the hot tub underneath the stars.
Bison Hollow Hideaway is located on the Bison Hollow Preserve with a total of 660 acres that features a narrow, steep-walled Black Hand sandstone gorge with numerous picturesque rock outcrops and waterfalls. Inside the cabin features 3 private queen bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a small kitchen/seating area, TV/DVD area, a telephone with long distance calling in the US, fully stocked with paper products, linens, towels, and kitchen supplies. Outdoors features spectacular views, small beach area, hot tub, propane grill, and fire ring.

This cabin is so cute!! My sister and I had a great time exploring the area and the driveway in has beautiful cliffs. Lots of hot water, the hot tub was clean and some of the locals stopped by to say hi

Really cute cabin. The drive to the cabin was absolutely beautiful with the striated stone walls and lush trees. Had neighbors, but they weren’t close. We were very close to the Ash Cave hiking trail. Loved having the three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Having the jacuzzi was a very nice and relaxing feature—make sure to bring flip flops because you have to walk around to the back of the cabin to enjoy it. Although we didn’t use it, the fire pit had firewood available upon our arrival. They have Starlink, so we all were able to stay connected as needed or wanted. The tap water has an earthy smell to it, so you may want to bring your own drinking water. I would recommend this cabin to anyone and everyone.

Amazing little rustic cabin with modern conveniences nestled in the Amerine Cliffs. Beautiful and close to the main park and restaurants. Cell phone coverage is spotty but honestly it was nice to disconnect.

The listing states "screened in porch" but there's no screens. You can see there used to be screens. The listing should be updated as this was a misrepresentation. Otherwise great stay. The host replied to questions on the VRBO app. However, no reply was sent to questions that I sent to their phone number.

Cute cozy hideaway cabin

Overall our stay was great. The place is cute, inside and outside. We enjoyed the rock formations along the road in. The hot tub was fun even though the weather was sweltering hot during our stay. The location was very close to the hiking that we wanted to do. The beds, pillows and sheets were all very comfortable. The only negatives were some hairs left by the cleaners in bathroom sink and shower and someone needs to review the kitchenware. The microwave handle needs fixing or replacing and the cookware could use refreshing. If you plan on cooking anything more than a box of mac 'n cheese bring your own cookware. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and would stay agian if we return to the Hocking Hills area.

The cabin, itself, is nice. The property and location are beautiful and convenient to several hiking trails/waterfalls. When we arrived there was no power, but it was back on within 20 minutes. Our refrigerator died and the ac didn't work (got compensated). The property mgr sent maintenance over with a mini frig (ac needs fixed or replaced). When I booked, the listing said no wifi but when we arrived a starlink was in place (nice surprise). Lamp shades in living need replaced, they are stained/dirty. Bring tin foil, storage containers and a blow dryer, if you think you'll need them. Booking, check-in, and the communication from the property mgr, were great.

Beautiful falls on the property

My 2 sons and i went for mothers day. Great stay. Cozy cabin but the waterfalls, creek and trails were awesome on the property. Very nice hot tub and fire pit for smores was so relaxing. Want to come came and stay again at this cabin

A fireplace was one of the amenities mentioned. I'd like to know where it was, as we never saw it. Also claims a screened in porch. Nope, porch wasn't screened in. It needed to be though, because of the wasps & bees. To get from the cabin to the hot tub, one must go down the front porch steps around the cabin to the back of the cabin. A light on the side of the cabin was burned out, burt we didn't know it was even there until next morning after we stumbled our way around. Not one extra lightbulb in cabin, so I ended up taking one from the lamp in the common room so that we could see the following night. I am a local & was hosting out of state guests. I would not recommend this property as there are hundreds more out there at cheaper prices.

Romantic

Make sure you understand that there is no wifi. AT&T got 1 bar intermittently, but Verizon never had coverage.so, cell phone use was out except for texting on AT&T. Cabin was very clean but had air gaps around all of the windows and doors. If you have allergies in the summertime this may be an issue, But for us it was fine. Cooking utensils and coffee pot on premises. Did not use grill, but it was there. We did use the fire pit but because of the location it made the smoke swirl back at you. The hot tub was fine. Beds are full size, not queens, so plan accordingly. Over all it was a great stay but has some limitations.

Nice little place

Couldn't use the bottom of fridge. Some type of moldy petrified something from a previous person. DVD player wouldn't read any of the DVDs. Had to move one of the couch cushions and found a lot of crumbs and chips from someone else. No dish soap to do the dishes. Other than that is was a great places. Very close to all the caves and waterfalls. Easy enough to find.

Beautiful property

An absolutely beautiful cabin and even better property. Amazing cliffs along the short road to the property and I found at least 3 waterfalls within a half mile of the cabin. The only downside was that there wasn’t a door to the back patio hot tub, which required walking around the cabin to access and a pest control company waking me up from a nap Saturday afternoon. I will gladly return to this cabin.

I loved the little cabin feel. The smell of natural wood upon entering each day was great. I thought it was so far off 'the beaten path' because I arrived at night, but in the day light it was perfect and gave us the adventure/camping feel we wanted. The cabinets were fully stocked with dishes, the number of towels was perfect. The beds were creaky and the ceiling fan in the room with the blue quilt was squeaky. The rest of our stay was amazing. Thank you so much. Definitely
