• Sorrento town is generally fairly lively from July through to September, so if you visit during these months, you’ll appreciate being able to retreat to the calm of your terrace and garden.
• There is no parking space. If you do have a car with you, you can park in a public car park (pay locally). but we recommend using public transport where possible.
• Make the most of self-catering by shopping for great local food in the nearby delis and supermarkets, but don’t miss out on the experience of dining out at the excellent nearby restaurants and pizzerias or at the family-run seafood tavernas in the nearby port.
• Take advantage of local public transport options to explore the peninsula.
