  • This detached Guest House of 480 sq ft consists of a large bedroom with California King bed, a separate changing area and lovely bathroom. Basically a luxury Hotel room located at the end of a country road with a private yard on a winter creek with vineyard views beyond. Newer construction, completed in Oct. 2016. Being located between Glen Ellen and the town of Sonoma puts you in the heart of the Valley of the Moon (Sonoma Valley) with wonderful restaurants and wineries, Jack London State Park, Historic Sonoma Plaza and much more.

    No full kitchen. Only Coffee sink, microwave, dorm type refrigerator.

Cozy home, great location

We stayed here for a Memorial Day trip to Sonoma! It was excellent! The studio was clean and the hosts were responsive. The location was great, we would stay here again!

Bigger and better than expected!

The studio layout is ideal for a couples retreat. It’s larger than expected based on the photos and nicely appointed. Location is great for visiting downtown Sonoma and travel to Sonoma and Napa wineries!

Perfect spot for a couple

This is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway. Very private setting and very nicely designed/decorated- we took away ideas for our home! Easy access to Sonoma and a short drive to Napa Valley wineries. Five stars!

Tuck away and relaxing

We picked this place because it seemed tuck away from the noise and motion of the area, and we were proven right! It’s at the end of a road facing woods and you have your own access to the studio. We enjoyed the accommodations both inside and out, along with ease of access to roads to travel the valley. Would definitely visit again if available.

The Studio Review

Great spot that's close to all Sonoma has to offer. And, just a short ride to great towns like St. Helena and Calistoga. The studio is tranquil with lots of nice, modern amenities. The outside space is very private and a great spot to soak up some sun, drink a glass of wine, and read a good book. Contact with the hosts was easy and they responded quickly to my questions. I would gladly stay there again.

Comfortable and modern home with nice outdoor area

We loved our stay in Sonoma at Jim’s home. It is a standalone guest unit with its own fenced in yard area. Only a 10 min drive from town. Bed is very comfortable, water pressure in the shower is incredible (the ladies care) and Jim left fresh flowers! Definitely recommend.

Clean and comfortable

Property is at the end of a quiet street. Although on the same lot as the owner's primary home, it felt very private. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Only suggestion is a small table with two chairs (perhaps a "cafe" style table) so there's a place enjoy a morning coffee/pastry. Overall very good and within nice proximity to all the Sonoma valley has to offer.

Perfect getaway for two

Great little apartment. Coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave. Bathroom and bed were perfect. Lots of natural light and AC. We loved it. Very close to Sonoma, easy access to Napa and the valley.

Perfect weekend retreat

My husband and I enjoyed a weekend in wine country. Jim's studio was perfect for us. It was peaceful, quiet and safe yet close to downtown Sonoma, Glen Ellen and many wineries. Finishes were high end and bed was very comfortable. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
