​​​​​​​The Old Goat Inn is a lovely one level home with a gradual sloping lawn to a wonderful pebble beach. A new dock and fun fire pit round out the charming water access. You will enjoy dining near the water on the ground level deck!

The Old Goat Inn is a lovely one level home with a gradual sloping lawn to a wonderful pebble beach. A new dock and fun fire pit round out the charming water access. You will enjoy dining near the water on the ground level deck!



The "Old Goat Inn" is really a NEW, 2-bedroom 1 bath home, all on one level, which is comfortably furnished for a great Montana escape. Complete with an AC wall unit in the living area, it has one Queen and one twin beds as well as a full bed and a pull-out couch in the living room. The handy kitchen is a cheerful gathering place for the whole family - sparkling clean with all new appliances!

You will need a vehicle to get to and from the property as well as explore the area with ease. As a more rural area there are very few public transport and uber like options.



**WINTER ADVISORY**- Please note that October - April we highly recommended a 4-wheel or All-wheel drive vehicle, as you never know what the weather will be like in Montana.

CANCELATION POLICY:

** PLEASE NOTE, if a reservation is cancelled at least 60 days prior to the reservation arrival date, the reservation is refundable, MINUS the processing fee. The processing fee is paid to the credit card company upon booking your stay and, additionally, upon cancelation.   

** PLEASE NOTE, if a reservation is cancelled LESS than 60 days prior to the reservation arrival date, the reservation is NON-REFUNDABLE IN ITS ENTIRETY.

Fabulous Rental

This house was perfect for my husband and I. Beautiful deck, dock, and view! We drove to GNP the first 3 days there and then enjoyed the house and Flathead lake the rest for the week.

Best water on Flathead .

Sailboats in the evening , boating all day, gentle lawn slope to the dock..five minutes from the Somers put in. Cozy Cabin with all you need to cook. Close to restaurants if you do not cook. Perfect place.

relaxing stay after wedding

Adorable house right on the lake ! Was the perfect place to relax after our wedding wkend. The house was very clean and supplied with everything you could need. No complaints other than it is advertised with heat however there is not other than individual space heaters. We rented kayak & a boat from Big Arm and got to explore the lake , hike Wild Horse Island and cruise to Polson for lunch. We loved grilling and having a bon fire every night . Very relaxing 😊

Perfect little getaway

This property provided the perfect little getaway to enjoy some family time. The cottage was clean and cozy, the deck provided a relaxing spot to enjoy the views and the private dock area was perfect for enjoying the waters of Flathead Lake. The booking was easy and the management of the property was very helpful in answering any questions. I would definitely book this property again.

Just right for our family

We can’t to the Old Goat Inn to celebrate my 50th on the lake. It was perfect for my husband , me and our 2 teenaged daughters. The location is prime with beautiful views and easy access to Lakeside, Somers and Big Fork. We LOVED having our own dock. We used it for paddle boarding, kayaking, yoga, sun bathing, and morning coffee. The management team was incredibly efficient. The cabin itself was just what we wanted. We cooked on the outdoor grill, enjoyed the deck overlooking the lake, and slept well in the beds. We will definitely come back to OGI.

We had a good stay at the Old Goat Inn. Beautiful views. Nice grounds. Very quiet. Great communications with manager. The house is alittle older along with the furnishings, but clean. The driveway down to the house is very steep, would have like to be advised about it because if weather and car situation.

This house is ideal for those who want a lakefront setting in peaceful Somers Bay. It's family friendly and spotless! The owners are friendly and onsite should you need them. The central location of this property is only minutes from Lakeside and 15 minutes from Bigfork. What sells this property is the outdoor space! The dock and the deck are perfect places to enjoy the beauty of the lake. There is ample outdoor seating/dining space and even a fire pit. When we return to Flathead Lake, we will return to the Old Goat Inn!
