Soak up the Southern California sunshine in this charming beach house located in the quaint coastal town of Solana Beach. The vacation home is just a few steps from beach access at Tide Park Beach, less than a ten-minute walk to Fletcher Cove Beach Park, and a five-minute drive (less than 3 miles) from the world-famous Del Mar Race Track.

With three bedrooms, and three bathrooms, the home accommodates up to 7 people. You will love the fresh, beachy feel of this space as well as the family-style multi-purpose room on the lower floor, outdoor living spaces, and pool with attached hot tub and slide!

Enter through the gate to a private and spacious courtyard with, outdoor dining set, sofa and chairs. Right off the courtyard you will enter into a cozy beach style bungalow. The main floor consists of two master suites with attached bathrooms and views of the resort-style pool, and lush landscape. The main floor also includes a living room with large flatscreen TV, fireplace, dining room as well as a delightful galley style kitchen which leads onto the upstairs deck, perfect for barbecuing and relaxing in the California weather.

The downstairs floor consists of a family-style multi-purpose room which leads to the outdoor pool area. Just off this room you will find a guest suite furnished with a Twin-over-Queen bunk bed and en suite bathroom with a shower. These rooms have direct access to the outdoor space and pool area.

Things To Note About This Property:
- Stays of 30 nights or longer are managed by P.S. Platinum Property Management, Inc. (DRE 02215202) and are subject to additional lease terms.
- Maximum occupancy of 7, sleeps 7 people in beds (2 Kings, 1 Queens, 1 Twin)
- P.S. Platinum has partnered with Truvi, a verification platform. Upon booking, you will be asked to complete a verification prompt along with your rental agreement.
- Onsite parking (for 2 vehicles) is available - one in the driveway and one in the garage. There is ample street parking as well.
- The pool and spa can be heated for a daily fee of USD $100, with a 3-night minimum. Please let our team know if you would like to add this at least 24 hours in advance.
- There is a pool fence installed at the home for your safety. Pool hours are between 10AM-7:30PM, out of respect for our neighbors.
- This property enforces a No Smoking policy, both within and outside the home - NO EXCEPTIONS
- This home is located in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood and is only suitable for quieter groups. Our rental agreement includes a no-tolerance policy around loud noise, excessive drinking that is disruptive to neighbors, over-occupancy, and parties.

The house was clean, comfy, and well stocked. The location was great, easy walk to the beach and close to great restaurants up and down the coast. Heating the spa and pool is overly complicated and while communication was timely, they did not get the issue resolved.

Best Beach Vacation!

We had an amazing time staying at the house. It was very comfortable, bright and convenient for walking everywhere and to the beach. The pool and spa were worth the extra $ to heat! Kids loved it.

Exactly as described and very well appointed

Communication with the management company before and during our stay Was prompt, friendly and effective. The house was stocked with much more than you would expect, plenty Of paper towels, and toilet paper, more than you could need in the kitchen and all Of vacation life’s necessities in the garage. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Amazing property

Perfect Beach House

The property is awesome! It has everything you need for an amazing vacation. The house is fantastic and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. Heated pool and slide was a blast for the kids. Can’t wait to come back!

Solitude in Solana

What a fantastic property. The pool area is phenomenal. Location is 20 seconds from beach entrance. Walked to get gelato around the corner every night. Kids had a blast with the toys in the garage. Super close to train station and Cardiff. TV’s in every room. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time. The location was perfect, close to beach and great restaurants. The house was very clean and comfortable, it was perfect for our family vacation and the pool with the slide just put it over the top. Everyone had a great time and all agree we would return.

Fantastic property

I’m sure there’s plenty of amazing reviews for this property so I’ll try to explain my reasoning. 1. Location. Knowing nothing about San Diego- I didn’t completely understand the location but it’s absolutely perfect. It’s an easy drive to La Jolla, Del Mar, Cardiff, Encinitas. The house is about two properties down from the walking path to the beach. 2. Details. I’ve rented many many properties. What impressed us about this one is their attention to details. I’m talking about throw blankets when you’re on the couch (many never have that). Well sized towels. Plenty of basics so we didn’t have to run out to the store right away ( toilet paper, dish soap, shampoos, ziplocks, etc). That’s another big perk that many places don’t offer. They have bikes and beach chairs. Just an overall great focus on making a rental a home. 3. Awesome A/C. We like to keep it cold at night. We turn it up during the day. But at night, for sleeping, we like it cool and the AC was great. 4. Overall- great property. Perfect for our family. Very clean. Can’t imagine we’d ever pick a different spot if in the area again.

Outstanding!

This property checks every box. Our family of 6 stayed here a week and loved the house, the pool and location a lot! Smooth booking and communication process. House is perfectly stocked w quality items (think cookware, towels, etc). Maintaining a property to this level also deserves a shout out, it's so well kept yet feels comfortable and home like. Overall this was one of the best VRBOs we've ever stayed at. If you own or are considering owning a vacation rental and want to do some research on what a professional 10 out 10 experience looks like then book this place. PS I recall the listing saying somewhere that the pool is not heated, not true, you can have heat and it's lovely!

Great property

Very nice and clean place, amazing location (the steps down to the beach are less than a block away), the kids loved the pool. We were very impressed by the property manager - we've had good ones before, but the level of professionalism here was a cut above. The communication was great, and I suspect they helped advise on how the property is set up - this place had everything we could think of, which isn't always the case with rentals. It was well thought out.

Perfect for Families

The layout of this house with living/play/bedroom/bath areas both upstairs and down, as well as front and back outdoor living spaces was ideal for families with children, including grandparents who could have privacy in their own bedroom and bath suite at the end of the hall. The children (ages 3 - 11) loved the pool and the water slide especially, and spent most of each day in the pool. After dinner walks to the beach at low tide and sunsets were yet another treat for them. The house itself had every possible kind of equipment and convenience for children, water play, and for cooking meals, which we did for every meal. It was wonderful to visit with extended family after a year without being able to do so, and the house and location made our visit that much more special!

Vrbo we have ever stayed in!

This vrbo property is one of the best we’ve ever stayed in! We rent a vrbo 2-3 times per year and this truly was one of our best stays. This house has everything you need for a fantastic vacation! Kitchen was fully stocked with anything you might need, even down to dish detergent and zip lock.bags. I don’t know if it’s always that well stocked but we were very impressed. I ordered groceries through Instacart before arrived and didn’t even need some of the stuff I ordered because the house already had it! The owners and managers have thought of everything. High chair and pack n play are there at the house for a baby. Sand toys, skim boards, boogies boards and 7 bikes are all neatly stored in the garage. The walk to the beach was even better than I expected. Walk out the gate, cross the street, walk down 3 houses and there you are at the steps that lead to the beach. That was such a huge perk! The pool was loved by my 4 kids! They told me I was the best mom for finding a place with a slide! There is great dining close by, with Covid most places are only doing carry out but that honestly worked better for us anyways with little kids. We ate dinner in the front courtyard of the house every night under the little white lights. It was beautiful. Do yourself a favor and skip Robertos taco shop. Drive just a mile further to los olas. So much better! Pizza port by the house had great pizza, our other favorite place was Micheline’s pita house about 5 mins away. So good! And don’t forget to get donuts from donut house. We loved them! Honestly can’t say enough good things about solana beach house. It’s beautifully decorated, with plenty of towels and extra beds should you need them. Michelle, Melissa and Tom were quick to respond and easy to communicate with. We are already looking at our calendar trying to figure out when we down make trek back to Cali from Tennessee. Hope you enjoy the house as much as we did!

Perfect Property in a Perfect Location!

Everything about 'Olde Solana Beach' was as advertised, it provided for an outstanding trip to the sun from a snow-bound Montana for a "big" birthday. Although very short walks take you to the beach one way, and shops, restaurants and the highway the other way, the house is a peaceful, quiet and leafy haven, with all that is needed to relax when not at the beach, the Zoo, Safari Park, Downtown, Balboa Park or all the other attractions that abound. We were a group of grandparents, children and young grandchildren numbering six in total, and all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is extremely well furnished and equipped, with multiple indoor and outdoor areas to play, relax or escape your fellow guests (or grandchildren), should that be your wish. It goes without saying that the pool, hot tub, water-slide, patio, balcony and courtyard were all much used and enjoyed, and we lacked for nothing, including bicycles, surfboards and childrens' toys - perfect! As was the wonderfully comfortable bed! A great place to stay, thoroughly recommended - as long as it doesn't clash with when we next wish to visit!
