PLUS: Bonus Sleeping area with bunk beds. 60" Flat Screen with BluRay in the Living Room. Ski storage entry. Wood Fireplace Wood Fireplace (wood provided outside building key will be in the unit) Walk out the door, you're on the slopes. Stemwinder #6A is designed for 2 families with a bunch of energetic kids. Spacious on 3 floors, everybody can spread out. Non-skiers can watch the skiing from the windows in the Living Room.

AMENITIES: Free WiFi, Free Long Distance Calling, Gated Community, Bike Friendly Lodging, Free Resort Shuttle Service. Access to Powder Monkey Lift. Within walking distance to the Western Territory and The Village at Snowshoe shops & restaurants.

Updated House Rules:
~ Reservation holders must complete check-in requirements.
~ The reservation holder must submit a photo of their driver's license, and a selfie holding their driver's license for verification
~ A signed Rental Agreement must be returned within 24 hours of booking
~ No Pets - Pets found in non-pet properties are forbidden and will result in immediate eviction without refund and incur a $250.00 charge to the credit card on file
~ No Smoking
~ No large gatherings
~ Check in time is after 4:00 PM
~ Check out time is 10:00 AM
~ Mandatory quiet hours between 10 pm and 8 am
~ Minimum age of reservation holder is 25
~ No mailbox access will be granted, no exceptions are made
~ For homes with a private hot tub, a cleaning fee of $100.00 is charged at the time of booking.

Prime location, steps away from Powder Monkey Lift and nearby restaurants, and still walkable to the Village. Nice bedding and furnishings. Almost ski in/out, but the bottom level with slope access is a separate apartment for owner and their guests, not a huge deal, as you can walk out the front door and around the building. Just would have been nice to know beforehand that there was an attached apartment with only a deadbolted door separating them by the bunk beds. You can easily hear conversations and smell everything they cook through it. A few dishes were put away with food residue, and as another review states from 2021, there is oddly no hand towel hook in main floor bathroom or master bath. An easy fix, overlooked for awhile. Front door lock and handle could use replacing, difficult at times to get into. For the price, I was hoping for a little more. Would stay again if minor fixes were made.

Very nice kitchen, living room area and balcony. Bedrooms were nice but need one with bunk beds, or something to accommodate two families with small kids. The bunk beds downstairs in the small room were problematic for 5 year old children. Also access to the slopes was not as convenient as indicated, as there is no exit out of the downstairs.

Location was ideal, near to restaurants and slopes. Property manager stayed in communiation, House had all the instructions clearly visible, all roomes, kitchen were clean, plenty of space. Bathrooms were little dated, but thats ok considering age or property. Will definitely stay here again.

Stemwinder II is in the perfect location--walking distance to the village but far enough away to feel secluded and quiet. The condo is roomy and looks just as advertised in the photos. The views of the mountain and lake from the deck and the two smaller BRs upstairs are excellent. Overall a comfortable, clean, and nice place to stay. Our only complaint was that some of the finishings could really use an upgrade: Several window cranks are broken, a couple blinds were busted, and a few window screens were a bit bent. There is weirdly no place for a hand towel in the main floor bathroom and the MBR toilet is very weak and stops up easily. Even so, I would still consider staying here again in the future given the views, comfortable seating and bedding, and the great location.

First time at Snowshoe (we usually ski at Seven Springs) so we were a little surprised at the crazy mountain roads to get there. However, once we arrived we wished we would have been able to stay longer! Location of our condo was perfect! And the weather could not have been better for skiing! We will be back - but for a LONGER time. On the down side (and I'm sure this is an exception - but not the rule, but still needs to be addressed by management) - we arrived about 5pm unloaded our cars/ski clothes etc and were about to fix something to eat when the CLEANING CREW shows up! They had not been prior to our arrival and all of a sudden (with COVID and all) I was so disgusted to think we had been touching things in kitchen and bathroom where the surfaces hadn't been disinfected. Then the cleaning crew - (must have been at least 7 of them) came in and proceeded to try and talk to us with NO MASK (not all of them - but some) - I realize things happen - but it would have been better if the management company could have at least notified us that the condo had NOT been cleaned yet - and we could have made other arrangements. Other than this issue - we had a great time.
