Welcome home to Mountain Lodge unit 128, a remarkable place to enjoy your next Snowshoe Mountain vacation getaway!

This stylish and modern 1-bedroom/1-bathroom property that sleeps four guests is on the first floor close to the entrance/exit closest to the Ballhooter lift. You’ll love the tastefully decorated details throughout the unit. Mountain Lodge 128 features a modern kitchen with updated cabinets, updated countertops, and is fully stocked with all the basics you'll need to prepare, cook, and serve a delicious meal.

Within the space, you’ll find plateware, utensils, pots and pans, coffee maker, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, and toaster. Or, if you’re tired of preparing your own meals, consider a short stroll to the magical Snowshoe mountain top village to peruse its numerous shopping and dining options.

As you’re enjoying a cup of tea, coffee, a glass of wine, or a good book from the living room, you can watch the skiers or mountain bikers coming off the Ballhooter high-speed quad lift right outside your window. Take in the fresh mountain air from the brand-new 7’x7’ deck and be inspired by how close you are to all the action.

For your comfort, the bedroom provides you with a queen bed with a bathroom conveniently located in the hall. The bathroom vanity is updated and is separate from the toilet/shower area so you can have privacy. The pullout sleeper sofa in the living room can accommodate up to two additional people.

In the hall, you’ll appreciate the coat and ski rack to store your jackets, ski, and board equipment.

Your housekeeping package includes linens for each bedroom (sheets and pillowcases) and bathroom (towels, washcloths, and a bath mat), a dish towel, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, liquid dish soap (for hand washing), powdered dish detergent (for the dishwasher), bath soap bars, and coffee filters.

THE RESORT:

At 4,848 feet, Snowshoe Mountain has the best skiing south of Vermont and east of Colorado, and is the perfect all-season destination in West Virginia’s Allegheny Mountains. You’re sure to find activities and adventures to keep all your family members happy.
● Winter – With an average yearly snowfall of 180 inches, the mountain offers 250 acres of skiable terrain, 61 slopes, 12 lifts, night skiing in Silver Creek, and five terrain parks for all skill levels. When you feel like taking a break from skiing or snowboarding, consider the many other activities available such as the Coca-Cola tubing park, Polaris RZR tours, snowmobile tours, horse-drawn sleigh rides, and the Snowshoe spa, to name a few.
● Summer – Enjoy the Snowshoe Bike Park with 40 downhill trails. Other activities include hiking, horseback riding, geocaching, clay shooting, golfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, relaxing on the sandy beach by Shavers Lake, etc.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
● Mountain Lodge features equipment lockers for rent (each holds up to two mountain bikes), for $15/per day on a first-come/first-serve basis, an arcade for the kids and young at heart, an inviting lobby built around a large fireplace (lit in the winter), laundry facilities, conference rooms, and a prime location that’s just a quick walk to Snowshoe’s main high-speed quad lift, Split Rock Pools, Wildcat Grocery, and the St. Bernard Chapel.
● Please be courteous and considerate of the other guests and abide by the quiet hours from 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM.
● Party away on the mountain or at a local restaurant. But, please, no parties in the condo.
● Free bus shuttles are available from the Village to Top of the Mountain, and to Silver Creek for night skiing. Reach the Western Territory by way of the Silver Creek shuttle.
● If you need additional accommodations, please ask me about my other condos in the Snowshoe Mountain Resort.

PETS: We absolutely adore our furry friends and wish you could bring them with you. Unfortunately, Mountain Lodge does not allow guests to bring pets of any type. As such, we have to insist you find alternative accommodations for your pets. However, if you have a certified Service Animal, let us know ahead of time so we can accommodate you. Service animals must be registered when you check-in at the front desk.

EARLY CHECK-IN: While we know you are excited to kick off your vacation, please note we cannot guarantee check-in prior to 5:00 PM. Mountain Lodge may be able to accommodate your request for an earlier check-in as long as the room is clean and set up.

LATE CHECK-OUT: Unfortunately, these are not possible. If you’d like a late checkout so you can enjoy all the mountain has to offer, we’re happy to book you for another night, if this or any of our other properties is available.

PARKING: Your reservation includes parking for up to as many vehicles as there are bedrooms in the condo you’ve booked. Any additional vehicles will be allowed to unload passengers and luggage at the Mountain Lodge main entrance, but will then need to find parking outside of the Mountain Lodge parking lot. We welcome you to park for free at the Top of the World (left out of Mountain Lodge parking lot; one mile up the road). From there, you can take the shuttle to the Village, and walk to Mountain Lodge. It is imperative that you move your vehicle(s) out of the Mountain Lodge parking lot immediately following check-out, as the lot is not large enough to accommodate vehicles of incoming Guests in addition to those of departing Guests.

Clean and Comfortable

The property was so cute and had everything you could need. For those of us staying inside- it was nice to look out and see the lift! Could watch some of the action while staying nice and warm. Super close to the lockers and exit for mountain so everything was so easy! The hosts were very accommodating!!

Great stay

The place is updated and cozy. Can’t beat the location, you can see Ballhooter from the back door, and it’s a 2-3 minute walk to all the village spots. Being on the 1st floor was nice not having to go up and down with all our ski stuff, though it is a little noisy above you. Overall, it was a great stay!

Affordable and great location at Snowshoe

It’s small but roomy enough for a fam of 4 to fit, with teens on the pull out sofa and parents in the bedroom. The location in the mountain lodge complex is great, next to the lift, and parking is easy! Kitchen is smaal but didn’t stop us from cooking plenty of meals, to not only eat in the restaurants around -also fun!

Fantastic location, clean and modern room

We had a wonderful stay in this unit at Snowshoe. The owner was extremely helpful, the room was clean and modern, and the location is about as good as you can get. The owner was very responsive when we had a question about check-in (he even quickly called the lodge front desk when they were not allowing an early check-in despite the room being ready (per the owner). The room itself had everything we needed with a very comfortable bed and modernized decor. Everything was exactly as advertised. We will definitely aim to stay here again for future trips.

Great location and clean updated condo

Condo was very clean and updated. Furniture and rug was relatively new. The kitchen was well equipped with many pots, pans, cutlery, coffee makers etc. I liked the shelving in the sink area for holding towels, toiletries etc. There were plenty of hooks in the bathroom for towels and plenty of hooks in the hallway for coats, bags, etc. The only thing I would change would be the sleeper sofa. The sofa was fine and in good shape. The mattress or sleeper was sunken, but not too bad for a small person. I would stay here again and hope to do so.

Wonderful property

Our family loved staying in ML128. The close proximity to the village and slopes was perfect. We parked the car and never got back in it. The unit was nicely appointed and very comfortable for our family of 4. We will definitely come back.

Excellent location and accommodations

By far the best unit I’ve stayed in at Mountain Lodge. View of the waffle cabin, close to the exit to the slopes and an amazing amount of “hooks” throughout the unit for hanging up whatever you need. Kitchen supplies are in good shape and updated also. Bathroom update is very nice also. We brought folding chairs to sit outside on the deck. We are coming back in January 2023 and my daughter asked if we could stay here again.

This unit was just as it looked on line. Everything was spotless. The bed was comfortable, it even had a nice view! Easy access to walk to the shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay there again.

UCI worldcup extended weekend trip

Property was generally clean and updated and functional. Kitchen was usable and well stocked but we did have to buy oil to cook with and left it behind for others to use . We had remote issues but we eventually figured them out and could change channels on the TV. The screen is missing for the one outside facing window and the door wall screen was torn. We often had to open the door wall up because it would get hot and stuffy in the room. Place overall was nice and easy to get to.

Cute Place, Convenient Location

Modern decor and recent renovations made this a lovely one-bedroom. The owners paid attention to little details that matter for storage, comfort, and optimal use of space. I will say the bed in the bedroom is very high off the ground (could be an issue if you have elderly folks or kiddos). They do provide a step stool, which we had to use to get into the bed... Lol! IT was a comfortable bed, and the space was clean. Looking forward to a return visit and hope to book this same condo again:)

Clean and updated condo, very nice

The only issue I had is with house keeping, There was 3 of us staying and they only left 2 bath towels and wash cloths, no extra trash bags except the one in the trash can and no extra toilet paper. For the price we paid they should make sure these items are provided.
